Also, some bad news for those wanting more gameplay footage. After capturing Carmen worldwide, statewide, and historywide, I have decided to retire as an ACME
detective. Mostly because I switched to a computer that cannot run
those games with or without Virtual PC. This means no Word, Math or
Junior Detective gameplay videos
.
However, I will be doing a new series of videos which has to do with a certain 80s/90s Nickelodeon game show... and DosBox.

That's mainly because it's not as catchy as the Rockapella theme from "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego". Ironic, considering Rockapella helped write it.

Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego is such an underrated game show. To be honest, I like it as much as I like Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.

@@gibbs615 Shame. I loved the Netflix cartoon, but a rebooted game show would still be even better. Especially since there are plenty of kids that could use extra history and geography made fun.

While the game was a bit more fair compared to "World" (the lightning round, if two contestants were wrong, it is a guaranteed score for the third for example) "Time" lacked some of the charm and a visible audience by compare.
Still, the two shows are nothing compared to what millennial generations lack.

This show was produced from 1996 to 1998 and with the range of the millennial generation being those born from 1981 to 1994, this show was produced primarily for the milennial generation. Why the need to take a shot at millennials?

I find some of the objects kind of weird though. Newton could have just gotten another apple. I was never able to see this one when it premiered later but I definitely do not like how they portray Carmen as a straight villain because she's not.
Yeah really, I enjoyed the show but seeing Carmen as a cackling villain was pretty jarring after the cartoon's portrayal of her.

+Lucinda Sanchez (Lucy) It depends on the source material - she's been portrayed as a straight villain and an anti-hero. The early games have her as a 'gentleman thief', the cartoon she's an anti-hero, in this and some of the middle games, she's downright vicious.
Yeah I know. I've seen all the games and the cartoon. I liked the gentleman thief thing, she wasn't "mean" in where in the USA, World, Math and Word detective, she's just mischievous. I really don't like the new ones because of how vicious they've made her. In the cartoon VILE and ACME were more like friendly rival's who teamed up against more violent criminals. Her personality is one of many inconsistencies of the franchise lol. Her hair changes color as much as her personality, along with the color of the ribbon tied around her wide brimmed hat!
(It's funny all in inconsistencies about her throughout the series. I wish they would go back to the gentleman thief though cause it fit her. I always thought acme instilled good values in her and she carried them through to vile, despite the stealing)
