Thank you for the video!!! For a long time I’d been wondering how the water from the buckets went to the field. I wondered if they manually took the buckets and poured it on the soil but that’s just crazy, it would take forever. This is genius 👌👌
I'm impressed with how efficient this water wheel is. The water is mostly being delivered where it is supposed to go. And the height delivered seems to be 3/4 of the wheel height or more. Anyone interested in building a scale model? The wheel brings up some interesting questions. The back of the boxes seem to be operating as the paddles. Wonder the optimum size for the boxes, how many there should be and what is the optimum distance between boxes? This seems to be a straight drop design which requires the structure to be supported with only one set of spokes on the back side so the wheel can turn around the collection box and exit channel. Interesting that there are not that many spokes, perhaps possible by the two surrounding rings. Anyone interested in this type of approach, please post and maybe we can share ideas.
@ChannelMH Thanks. I thought so but I think compared to the size of the stream such huge metal wheel would be too heavy. Also the wheel is running on a good uniform rate which I think would be very difficult for such a small stream. Anyway since there is no apparent other mechanical device around I'll take your explanation.
Great demonstration but this was shot in Pakistan instead of Texas.i mean I can clearly see that is Pakistan and who will you find wearing a shalwar kameez in Texas dude
It's a Noria not Persian water wheel. Persian water wheel is a device used to lift water from water sources, like open wells and it is operated by draught animals, such as bullocks, camels etc.whereas Norias are used to lift water from streams/rivers. Force of the flowing water current usually powers the wheel.

And the most creative.
Woo great idea man free energy to pump water to fields
Wonderful and eco friendly great research
Hi can Super Project!!! I use part of your video to my compilation homemade inventions ???
It’s also called araghatta (Sanskrit) . It’s used in India since 3rd century bce
좋은영상 잘 감상했어요.Touch that moment will be surprised???
Thanks for this video it is very useful for me to know about Persian wheels
Very Interested Technology Mr Thank you so much
Thank You ... :) :)

Is there a paper or a book where i can find the analysis, calculation of the designing of persian wheels?
Go to university..
Go to scribd/academia they have a lot of information...
@ChannelMH

why this water wheel is not geared with larger wheel so the frequency increased and water come out easily and more quantities
I think water is flow is not enough for a bigger wheel
Thanks for this informative video
Who is making the wheel to rotate
How it moves?
Is this Rahat system

Masha Allah very interesting
Hi, could you please tell us why you call it persian wheel? Thanks
can't understand! from where the water come? underground?
Buckets lift water from stream. Flow pushes it
V good effort
nice video

So beautifully analog!
Great but you should really take this dirt out of the basin.
...
Very important form of irrigation .
amazing 👍
What energy is used to keep the wheel rotating?
the wheel is turned by draught animals rotating a geared horizontal wheel....
Bhavik Gandhi Flowing water energy is used to rotate the wheel
The flow of water
It's Actually The Flow Of Water That's Keeping The Wheel Rotating ...
Water flow energy
Thank yu for the nice video
Bahaout vadhia kam 22 G
same experiment power also we can produce as well as
Does that generates electricity?
No It Does NOT Generate Electricity ...
india needed this wheel at every kilometres so power production become very great
I think it is not used for current production its speed is very low so this cannot produce much current. It is used to transfer water.
kaha ki video he
On A Stream In Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan ... Near UET Taxila University ...
wao great
Cuantas hectáreas se pueden regar con una noria como esa ?
Like if preparing for upsc and searched this while reading ourpast 2 chap 1 :)
with out power water lifting cool idea
Great demonstration but this was shot in Pakistan instead of Texas.i mean I can clearly see that is Pakistan and who will you find wearing a shalwar kameez in Texas dude
Bro it's not texas it's TAXILA Pakistan
Yeah, It's Actually In Taxila, Punjab, Pakistan ...
Anyone here because of Pak Studies?
There's one closeby my home aswell
Chinese have this idea for 1200 years ago, not new?
Me gusta esta jenial super vacan me gusta
Too much drag for the heavy steel used. The bearings don't look well engineered for such a huge wheel.
"A" for effort and "C" for product.
akhtr Khan
Considering its millions of years old... Not too baf
Mr M.A Wtf millions of year do you know when we discovered steel ? what an idiot

add a dynamo to that wheel, it may charge your iphone too :)
Nice
It should rotate against the flow of water, so that quantity of water in bucket could have increased
hahaha
Dude... That wheel is working from the force of running water..
Daria pra fazer uma usina com essa roda
Ok 👌
