I passed my CCMA Exam on the first time, and also have my Associates. I decided to become certified because I believe knowledge is power! I studied for 7 weeks with flash cards, Quizlet, and the CCMA study guides. Preparation is vital to passing. There is no easier way to say it!

Thank you for sharing this. Wondering what test you took and program you are credentialed through? I just took my CMA test today after 5 years of being out of school. I went through AAMA and there were only 200 questions. Your version sounds very intense! Mine took over 2 hours.
Does anyone else feel like the questions aren’t exactly relevant to what we do as Medical Assistants? Mine was heavy on microbiology, agar substances for cultures and pathogens. I passed thank goodness; but I hear you. It will wring you out and leave you feeling like a limp mushy noodle. Good luck to anyone prepping for this. Start studying early and take as many practice tests as you can.

Thank u VM for this video. I wanted to ask if u ended up having the Study Guide from NHA that you used? I'm a bit older and currently working at an Urgent Care Center. I do have a little bit of phlebotomy experience that I gained on this job. I was going to have to take the course online which I've found a place to do that. I really want to pass this class but don't want to overwhelm myself and study too much info. I do have the study guide but haven't purchased the quizzes yet. Thanks again for sharing this! I talk about it in my other video “Medical Assistant Must Haves”. However, I did use study material from a website called tests.com too. That helped me a lot!! I hope this helped. Good luck !!
