Thank you for sharing your knowledge with these wonderful videos. My you tube highlight. Absolutely brilliant. And thanks Maddie for your brilliant production. You’re a talent!
Lot of lovely beaches you have there in UK. Especially the cliffs and those rock formations rising from the sea are beautiful to me. Hi from Finland and thanks again.
Love those soft supple brushes Andrew, I’ll have to get some of those. You cranked up the summer look a bit, I preferred the darker sand and more purple wet areas. Nice to be able to play God with the sunshine in Cornwall. 👍
Lovely as always. So today I was sketching in watercolor a very similar scene on the Pacific coast of Oregon big rocks like yours. So funny to be watching this tonight. Enjoyed as always
Another good 'un, in challenging conditions. The one thing - the ONLY thing - that I'd suggest to you inspired by Bob Ross is that he taped the metal ferrules of his brushes to reduce glare from the TV cameras: I'd find that a bit of a faff, but it might help when paintng outdoors: just a thought - I always get into trouble when I criticize Bob Ross, but shall we just say he had nothing else to teach you. The Pthalo blue ready-mixed with white: it wouldn't occur to me to buy that, but presumably it saves a lot of time when you're out and about, because Pthalo Blue is a bugger to mix with anything from scratch: as you will well know, it gobbles up anything you mix with it and spits it out - I treat it with great caution: I even prefer the old standby, Prussian Blue - hell, I'd use Indigo in preference to Pthalo .... but, well, no - no I probably wouldn't. Anyway! Always a pleasure to watch your videos, and instructive too.
Thank you so much for the suggestion Robert. I will definitely try the tape over the ferrules because it is blinding in the sun. All the best my friend
Lovely video - Thankyou. Your colours of sea and sand are a perfect when initially the sea looked (to me) too dark! Brilliant.
Many thanks Richard
