Can't believe they exist. And I mean that in the most uplifting and respectful way. I have never in my entire being shed tears when watching another passionate gardeners channel. Geez! I can"t stop crying. You could see the love, dedication and spiritual presence in their forest. Thank you so much for getting to know your neighbors and sharing them and they lovely forest oasis with us. We appreciate you and them.
I have been married and I have been single, as I am today. I do not regret the path that has brought me to today because it has made me who I am, but watching this couple has me wishing that I had found a mate that shared my love for gardening. I love this video so much. Thank you.
Thank you for honoring common people who love and respect nature and are just down to earth. I love the care and kindness that you grant them in making a professional video for us. This was beautiful and thoughtful. Thank you Joe.☺️
Gods first lesson book to us is Nature and this beautiful couple know this to well. May God continue to Bless this couple with long life together. Thank you
Of all that I have watched this is the one that touched not only my heart but my soul. My tears came from a profound peace of a resonated truth. I love their love. I was inspired to begin again and had a renewed sense of appreciation for the present moment. Special that you stated you were drawn in---as if life itself had invited you. Thank you for sharing and thank you for all you do .
Joe, this video is a work of art. Thank you so much for doing this piece. It has not only inspired my gardening, but it has also inspired my life. Thank you.
i'm a 60-ish obsessive organic gardener in new zealand so, over the years, have watched a huge lot of gardening shows. this is one of the most utterly stunning i've ever seen....this extraordinarily wise n inspiring couple in their unparalleled paradise of nature. my life is the richer for it.
Wow, this is such an amazing episode. I Love the fact that they want to share their gift. What an awesome couple💕 May God bless them with many more years.Thank you for sharing.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Just finished this episode. Wow, Wow... priceless! So glad you stopped for their plant sale! I hope you do revisit them again for more of their beautiful story. I'd love to hear how their house evolved over the years. LOVE how they extended several areas to meet the outdoors. Thank you for producing this story! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I'm alone and I have the same feelings about my garden ... what a wonderful world these two individuals have created ,,, and they totally enjoy what they've created ... how special!
The word "addiction" carries such a negative connotation. It is official. My name is Nina and I am a garden/plant addict. I have been so for 5 years. I seek put native plants to improve my space not only for myself but others (birds, insects and other wildlife). Oh and I'm lucky enough to have a garden partner!!
This couple speaks my language. I too am totally addicted to plants and gardening. I live in Australia. How I wish I could visit this couple & their garden. I am at the beginning of planting a new garden in the grounds around a a small old house we bought a year ago. I’m doing what they do, one day at a time, no master plan just planting what I love & seeing what will thrive and what struggles. My husband and boys hate gardening and they help me only reluctantly, occasionally so I am mostly in it alone with God ... but it’s my happy place and nothing is more pleasurable to me than hanging out with my best friend God in a garden that He’s helping me create and not just for me but to share... even my boys have said they have to admit it’s looking pretty good so far(even tho every plant is baby sized.) I’m 55 & so it’s going to take a while for my garden to look like this couple’s but one day at a time, one plant at a time... but... one day I may move as I would love a forest like they have! How gorgeous is that! There’s not a part of their garden inside and out that isn’t gorgeous though! Love on display... and remember it’s normal to be addicted to gardening- we get it from Our Heavenly Father ... the greatest love story of all began in a garden - eastward in Eden, then the greatest act of redemptive love (as Love Himself suffered agony for our transgressions and iniquity) happened in the garden of Gethsemane. And the creation of the new Heaven and New Earth which is next, will basically be God and us gardening together to restore Paradise -made possible only because of Yeshua’s agony in Gethsemane & on the cross. This is why we all sigh and are enveloped in peace in gorgeous gardens... because our “spirit man” inside our earth suits, the eternal us, remembers... we are the children of The Master Gardener.
This garden gives a feeling that is so right. Watching the video stirs something in me. I have been wanting to start gardening, a vegetable garden. And finding someone who share same interest and love for gardening is even more awesome!
That’s me and I prefer Plant Whisperer to addiction. I’m currently growing a garden from scratch, on a hillside that used to be a coal mine. Hubby is a musician and can’t tell a dandelion from a daffodil, but I rope him in for the big grunt work. If I had a garden half as amazing as that I’d be pleased.
Speechless!!! What a great episode!! This couple is amazing and I am so glad that you stopped in to meet them. They have a beautiful spirit and a beautiful garden to match. They give me hope as I watch my new garden grow.
WOW! Agree with you - this is paradise! I love this garden - I think - more than any other I've seen on your show. There is something so peacefully natural/beautifully unplanned. What an amazing couple and an amazing life! This is an episode I will re-watch, multiple times !
I just watched this video. Wow! It has touched my soul! This garden is full of love and peace and devotion. It shows their love for each other and their beautiful plants to Create an Amazing patchwork on this planet Earth. It has given me affirmation of my vision of what to do with my passion for plants and nature! I’m encouraged how things evolved with time with patience and love! Thank you for this video Joe.
This is my absolute favorite episode! I watched it on tv when it aired and now rewatch it on UA-cam. We’re all so very lucky you found this gorgeous garden and the beautiful loving couple who have created such magic. Thank You 🙏
I love this garden so much and thank you for sharing - of course - I see I still have a long way to go! I'm sharing with my family who love to tease me about just how many plants I plan to stick in the yard. Of course - they see something and check with me before buying to see if I might have it. Sharing plants is rewarding - often because if they receive something from another garden - they stop and bring me one. I have an African Violet that my grandmother gave me when I was about 19-20. I'm 65 now and it's still thriving - having been shared many times. Gardening is not only life - it's the good life.
I'm so jealous! I'm a widow and I've done gardening alone for many years and it is "work". I would have liked it better with a partner. Love those ferns, now I may split mine and put them out in an area I haven't accessed before. Just saying, I tend to make new areas, expanding. Just about done with the third landing with a "no dig" "lasagna" space, so next it's into the wild...lol.
Please keep that episode in your library of shows. I now I will watch it often, especially as I continue to garden without my beloved partner. Joe, you are correct that this was a special episode to share with us. Thank you
oh me, oh my - this is a glimpse of God's LOVE and glory. . . .thank you for bringing this to us through your post. I AM UPLIFTED BY THIS COUPLE amidst the situation of the world. THANK YOU MARGO & LARRY FOR YOUR STORY . . . .IT'S STILL A BEAUTIFUL WORLD FILLED WITH GLIMPSES OF GOD'S LOVE !!! We only have to look and pay attention.
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful special couple.......just unbelievably awesome........I’m soooooo glad l stumbled upon you ❤️❤️. ...what an inspiration you both are..........thankyou for sharing your beauty ☘️☘️☘️☘️❤️❤️
Such an enjoyable and relaxing show, much beauty all around . . . Thank you for bringing it to us all to experience & know it's possible to create little by little such magic.
Beautiful couple; beautiful episode. I lost my husband 5 years ago to stroke. We were married for 35 years. My soul mate. Gardening is what helped me through. I truly believe I would not have been as healed as I am today, if I hadn't planted those first seeds. Thank you for this episode!
What an encouragement! What joy this brought to my heart! Ty! What a blessing this is. A true vision of hope peace joy as well as true love for the garden and each other.
Yes, I am addicted to gardening and caring for my plants. I have even assisted many of my neighbors in transforming their front and back yards. I simply love it!
This was by far the most inspiring and moving garden episode I have ever watched. You " stumbled" on this couple so they could show us not just the beauty of gardening, but the beauty of love. I pray they will enjoy their garden together in good health for many more yesrs.
I completely understand Margot's comment about gardening being her "addiction". I feel the same way. I refer to my obsession with gardening as my "healthy addiction." Others, as well as myself, are healed by my healthy addiction. There is perpetual joy in its enfoldment.
They remind me of me and my husband. We have been transforming our yard over the years a little at a time. We do it all together and could not imagine doing it without him. I am one of the fortunate ones.🌻
I am a nature lovers so I love and find this so amazing, beautiful, wonderful life...very lucky couple that they have blessed with this kind of opportunity and have each other with same interest and passion...this is my dream..I was inspired to start working for my own Garden and live with serenity as well...very very lucky couple to live with this kind of life and waking up everyday with this scene..I really love it...I keep watching it over and over again, lovely couple having fun and enjoyed what they are doing...😘😘😘♥️♥️♥️ in
I think it’s a spiritual connection that is making people emotional by watching this great video! As human beings there’s never been a more important time to connect with nature! Peace from Ireland
Magical - their love for each other manifested itself in this garden. Plants are living things they respond to tender loving care. The natural art(istry) that she weaved through the garden is breathtaking and her lovely creations reflect that as well. It is a garden full of good intentions and good will, allowing space and time for nature to do her magic too. You did a fine job touching all of our lives with the care you took to present their beautiful, tranquil garden and the love that shines and sparkles between them. One of your best videos - thank you for sharing your joy with us!
My goodness.... I found myself crying at the end of this piece, really remarkable people, story and garden. Very special. I don’t even like shopping with my wife…..

I agree with you Nina, so am I. I do not see gardens and plants the same way most do. I see it from a spiritual side.
Lol me too all the seeds!

Many of us turn our grunts into believers, sometimes after many years. It’s fun & funny to watch.
