I have always been a hardcore Country Music fan... not to say there aren't songs from many diffferent genres that I won't listen to if they suit my taste. Well My 23 year old Son came to me one day with yet another Metal Band. I was ready to quickly tune it out as usual. Low and behold I loved what I heard. I was hooked... It was Volbeat..!!! There is just something awesomely unique about their sound. This was about a year ago and I am still a HUGE Volbeat Fan! New music please Volbeat?!!!

You can say all you want about these guys and how they aren't Death, Rock or God forbid Country, but this band has one thing that many dont these days and thats Soul. Most if not all there songs have meaning and storys behind them which even powers them more. To me, Volbeat is one of the best bands ive heard in awhile.

This isn't an "unknown" song. It's off their first demo (simply entitled Demo) from 2002. I'm lucky enough to have all their releases, including this gem. But, yeah, I guess I see your point. Not many people are lucky enough to have this on cd. Anyway, CHEERS, and HAIL VOLBEAT!!!!

You should hear Michael and Jon's old bands (DOMINUS -Michael's, & MORATORIUM- Jon's), both were Death Metal. Good stuff. But, I'd still consider VOLBEAT to be a Metal band. Either way... Volbeat is still a decent band. Cheers.
