It may look strange but it really helps, keep in mind this is for NATURAL HENNA. Not for the fake chemical cones that people wash off. To get the darkest stain possible from NATURAL HENNA, ideally you want to avoid water submersion for at least 12 hours after taking the paste off
You should get those surgical gloves! For some reason we have a ton at my house bc my MIL works at a hospital. But the ones that go all the way up to your elbow and are very thick. You could get a large size so it’s a bit more loose and still put a hair tie or just go w a size that fits you. But this way you’re able to wash your hair or shave or whatever you need to use your fingers for. Washing dishes as well!
when my sister does my henna and its almost time for me to go sleep I put gloves on so it doesn't go everywhere when it dries and u can also put gloves on if u don't want it to get wet in the shower (if u have normal short gloves it only works for henna up to wrist)
There is a cast one that you could wear that's for people with cast and you put it over your arm so it doesn't get the cast wet you can use that for something like that it would work perfectly won't even know water we get in
I just got my hand done by a professional Pakistan salon lady, and she didn't say anything about putting a bag over my hand. All she told me was not to rub too hard.
why does that sound crazy 😮 people really lost connection to their body's and do soooo many things out of habit when it's not necessary or even harmful.. it's totally fine not to shower if you don't need to and at some days it might be needed twice.. I nothing strange with that 😊
I wash the palm area not the top and do most things with my right (left hand has henna stain in video), it can tolerate some quite rinse but total submersion for extended time like in a shower should def be avoided
I have brown skin which is like dark so if I put henna for long time period or for one whole day the colour doesn’t show as much the design . So , for that how can I get to show the design and the colour ?
We Muslim need wudhu for 5 times a day. And if we had intimacy then we need shower( full boy needs to be wet) Henna is very essential for us Muslim woman but we can't protect henna😅
Please don't use plastic bags because they are not good for the environment but also they are not vegetarian friendly..... The slipping agent that is used to make them is beef tallow (in Most cases)

If you add a layer of petroleum jelly ON the skin behind the hair tie and against the plastic it will help repel water.
Careful!! That can cut off circulation to your arm and make it feel numb if you have it on for too long ❤️
Lol how long do you shower😂
Is using gloves and then securing with a rubber band at the end of the wrist a better alternative?
She is just an another indian literally, this is us i just tie a knot of bag where you put rubberband 🎉😂❤
I am verryyyyyyy veryyy big fan of you
I remember my childhood bcz i did that thing in my childhood..😊
After a while does henna dry to be permanent or is it never permanent

What to do if it does get wet on accident?
Why not try an elbow length glove, tie it off in a similar way, then you have more use of your hand.

Buy and use jagua (Genipa Americana juice) instead

ok, but what about muslim people where they have to pray 5 times a day at least and must doing wudhu which are letting our hands contacts with water?
3 options I guess... 1) accept a less dark/less lasting color.. 2) don't do (natural) henna.. 3) question life choices 😅😂😊
Let it stay for overnight and try to keep your wudhu by not doing things that break them ! It helps
are you indian or asian ? just curious
She is neither . She is just Hindu and appreciates Indian culture .
Ok so you are not washing hands 💀
There is this thing call plastic gloves🤓

You can try wearing gloves
So you dont wash your hands after toileting for 24 hrs 👀
