i never understood the feathers on his hair, but very original, great lyrics on all of their songs , they're great, no longer commercial , like since their big hit "in the shadows"
The feathers are because of his nick name and his favorite movie. Lintu: meaning black bird in Finnish (I think that's the correct transition but it is at least the meaning) and his favorite movie is the crow.

I've been a fan of these guys for about a decade and I can really appreciate that they're always evolving musically. Compared to bands like HIM, whose last several albums have all sounded exactly the same, these guys are amazing artists. Love them.

Their is no such thing as 'old Rasmus' they are who they are and they play what they feel like playing. They'll get bored sticking to the same music all the time. Honestly, this is the most pure 'Rasmus' they have ever been?. They've done almost everything themselves.

I completely agree, their sound was drastically different before dead letters, it just shows how an artist's music evolves and develops as they mature. Just because the style is different it doesn't mean that they are any less the band you were introduced to. I discovered them at a really low point in my life and their music literally saved my life, that hasn't changed even with their new releases, they still brings me a comfort when I'm feeling down.
