Here in Finland they aren't that much underrated. Lauri is often seen in reality TV shows. They still kinda are underrated, there is so much shit artists more respected than The Rasmus

@@CristinaNakamura he's been in a TV show called Vain Elämää (I guess it could be translated "just life") It's a show where artists hang out together and cover each other's songs. Every episode is someone's sort of theme day. For example, Lauri's day would be that they talk about his career and the others, each of them choose one of his songs and make a cover of it and perform it to him and the others

The Rasmus has gotten me through so many hard days. I've been captivated by Lauri since the beginning. I could listen/watch all day and never grow tired. The emotion behind every song is beautiful.
In 2021 and from Egypt and this still one of my best 20 songs that explains a lot about me

2:32 I’m not really sure about the whole concept of the song but for me the bridge of the song is everything like it describes perfectly that moment when you realize you found the one even though you’ve just known them in a short period of time. The lyrics really sum up how I felt at that moment.
I felt this way so many times in my life... taking a walk in the park... looking at distant people... thinking.. what they might be thinking at this moment or how my life would be if they were involved in my life.. and this song beautifully sums up all those feelings...i can so relate to this...never imagined that such a song would exist... nevertheless this song is underrated... probably because most people can't relate to it..as they're all busy people rushing around avoiding strangers thinking "every other person is out there to get you and you gotta be careful"... people and their crude sense of practicality :/

This song is my favorite on this album, and for some reason, I hadn't seen the video until now! It's very cute and uplifting. Because of certain lyrical choices, I always assumed that this song was about a one-night stand, which tainted my view of it a bit... but I just love this cinematic interpretation. Simply making friends and then parting ways. What a beautiful concept.

I've always interpreted it a bit differently. To me it refers to the fleeting moments in life, the time you spend with people you'll never see again, at parties, festivals, random get-togethers. Where you talk to people and get to know a very small part of them, bond with them over a joint love for a hobby or a band or an event, and then when it's over you part ways and continue with your lives. You feel like they're a part of you in some small way, they've affected you, but weeks, months, years later you have no idea where they went and who they became.
To me it was about meeting my husband for the first time.
He was a stranger that I got swept up in.... in the best possible way.
I didn't know him, yet, but he felt like going home. And I had been lost for a long time.

When I was a child, I went through a very hard time when my parents split up. I wouldn't speak to anyone. However, when your album Dead Letters came out, It started to 'heal' me. It's amazing words and music helped me get through the hard times. But a few years later, I had recovered, but forgotten you. However, yesterday, I was sorting out my CDs, and I came across the album again. So then I checked out your channel. Your new songs are amazing! I promise I will not forget about you again! :)

I don't understand why so many people are complaining as if The Rasmus has switched genres or something. Each album has been different from one to the next, but there's a natural progression to them. It isn't like a sudden change out of the blue.

I couldn't agree more, I get the feeling that this song is for the people we see in our lives briefly, the ones we pass the time with at the station, or communicate with in town. People we have never met before, and will never meet again, but who for a short while, our lives are moving in step with.
It's very different from the songs that introduced me to them, but it has been a few years since dead letters came out :)
