hey muscle man, i doht agree with the content. the Median is defined to be the central value of a raw data set, that's it, nothing more nothing less. when you measure the height of students, you acquire an original set of data and do NOT classify the heights into arbitrary boxes (6 boxes). classification would be tempering with data and destroying information. so from the original data, it is straight-forward to determine the median. that's the correct value for the median. and i bet with you that it's value is different from the calculated value of your formula.

Very good explanation but i have a question about in the commutative frequency and number students. When you add 2 + 5 = 7 right? But it's another way around. You have to subtract 18 - 11 = 7. Not a basher or hater just sharing my knowledge or idea hehe
