Mapping the Old World: Then vs. Now

  • In this week's video, I examine some eye opening maps throughout the past 500 years that appear to tell more than meets the eye. We will take a look at maps featured on the channel so far as well as a “future map of the world” by a so-called prophet, and some old maps of the North American and African continents. How were certain geographic features known about without advanced aerial means? Why did the maps change over the centuries? These questions and many more will arise during this investigation!
I truly thank each of you for the continued support of my channel and helping us grow, learn, and share! I look forward to uncovering more of our hidden yet magnificent past and hope you stay tuned.

Its weird because once you pointed out the eye of the Sahara and then you turn the globe around to show the four corners and it's almost as if whatever caused the eye of the Sahara pushed it all the way through the whole earth and popped up that circle at four corners as if it went all the way through the Earth, " weird"

Californian here there is a large lake (the salton sea) that we are told was formed by run-off of the Colorado river, but if you were to start at Baja and draw the edge of where the island would be you go right to that “salty” lake and up to the Death Valley desert which is below sea level

WOW! You just blew my mind again. One of the most incredible road trips I ever went on was a "random" journey to the 4 corners from Miami, Florida. When you started to mention the 4 corners, my heart stopped for an instant and then almost hit my goosebumps on the ceiling to have literally done a handstand at the 4 corners of something I never would have considered being such a possible mega-indicator of something that happened that was a key component to our history, not just an intertesting border anomoly in a beautifully barren location. The most interesting part about the whole thing, is that we drove all that way (me and my boyfriend at the time) - because I took out a favourite map book as an experiment and closed my eyes and asked The Universe to guide my finger to where is the most important place to travel for the best road trip..ie "where should we go?", and when my finger fell and I opened my eyes, It was right on the four corners! (Which I had no clue about before it was chosen, I had just heard that it was the only place where there are 4 states meeting perfectly)...I am mindblown that 10 years later the meaning is still expanding and this feels dead on...Bravo.

I wonder of the maps hidden deep in Vatican's libraries. They must keep them there because of the goodness of their heart, so that we don't get injured by what we might learn.

Hey if you scroll upwards from California, find Victoria Canada, and the gulf islands. I once stood on top of a mountain on salt spring island and it struck me how much it looked like the whole place had been flooded. You can tell the bottom of the ocean was a valley and the islands are mountain tops . Incredible! And a good example of what California could have looked like. Cheers

Let me start by saying I love your videos both the way you lay them out and then your analysis of the information. Also the bonus to this vid is going to be somewhat of a direct answer to the rest of my comment. I can't get enough of the forbidden history but its just information that I currently cannot do anything with. Whenever I bring out this information to anyone, I literally get no response or I'm now thought of less credible and probably stupid or crazy to the individual(s) that I present it to. I've had maybe two people out of about 50 actually agree with it and only one of them has mentioned it prior or done any research by themselves since then. If anything my uncontrollable obsession with this type of content in all forms has actually cost me friends or driven myself away more likely. I'm not going to stop searching for the truth no matter what but I just wish I had some way to truly put this information to good use. I guess this is kind of what all truth seekers are looking for, one of the big questions. Anyway keep it up, I saw where you got a shout on on JonLevi's channel, congrats! You guys kind of have a similar presentation format, which is very similar to my style.

@10:45, if the valley was filled with floodwater, that would presumably be freshwater, which would be fertile. The maps appear to show sea water; perhaps it is brackish.
The Salton Sea is around there, what part might it play?
Moors claim the canals across Arizona and beyond, the Palace by Utah's Salt Lake certainly looks to be moorish, yet I know not if Moors claim to have drained that Central Valley in California...

For gardening, try planting zucchini and tomatoes. They are the easiest thing to grow and I think they grow just about anywhere. Also remember citrus in planning for the future (it prevents scurvy). Kakadu plums will grow in zones 4-9 so anywhere in the U.S. which means they will grow in the changing climate.

I've seen many folks cover the "California as an island" thing but no one has ever offered an explanation, apart from possible mistakes of the cartographers. That's a lot of mistaken cartographers. lol.

Coming from someone living in Southern Utah, I think your premise is getting close to the nails head.
We see very similar lush areas here outside of Zion, farming communities that were certainly under water before in someway.
Glen canyon (Under Lake Powell) had amazing arches, cave paintings and dwellings of people that lived their before. No doubt a lot of those rock structures also formed by massive amounts of water that was there prior to them filling the canyon into Lake Powell.
Our history is old and rich and you are dusting off the hidden secrets.

Dear Geomansee. I really appreciate your work. Please keep up the good work. Here there will be some recomendations in words use. When you say English letters, there would be much better to use Latin alphabet. Instruments of cartography are very old even before Nubian-Kemet civilization. They use small cords, lines and square and compass as well. Also they use water from to level everything. From the mesurements they wrote every measuremet and observation down. Their maps are very accurate. Regarding your garden I suggest you to look for electro culture. How using cooper wires improves your yields. I thank you for your documentary.

In the California Isle map, the Baja region is quite wide, so if the water was to recede as you suggested wouldn't the island become wider rather than how it has become much narrower as it is today? Think displacement, something must have filled in the region causing the water level to actually rise. You can still have the Four Corners area as the center point for an event. What if that area was originally much higher in elevation and the event "pushed" or liquified land mass outward, thus altering the coastlines. Who knows? I bet there is somebody out that does, a records keeper of sorts, maybe could even be stored under the Vatican with everything else.

I am becoming a huge fan of this channel, thank you for asking questions others' do not! was watching the section 25:30 and realized something, those Lat/Long coords do not match our current system, if that's continental drift, that's way faster than its supposed to be ;-) also we didn't have BOTH lat and long in 1623 per the established narratives! 10/20 is SE of the 'eye' on our current system, but its out in the water, west off the coast on that map. Random, also - did you see the place named "Ambien" wonder if the drug companies who came up with that being a sleeping pill knew that old place name, or just coincidence.

Richardson Bay, the waters that begin at Sausalito, is so shallow that boats touch sand bars in the center at low tide in SF Bay. The implausible story is that the dirt that fills it ran down from all the gold mines up north. Haha. Instead, some physicists suggested that a mud flood could be caused if you exploded volcanoes all at once on every continent. Check out the years without summer.

Hello , I enjoyed this video so much ! Would like to add to those facts of water level as you said from " coast to coast " must begin the same.
I live at the South west Florida ( Port Charlotte area ) and it is normal here as soon as you start digging in the ground imminently you will find old marine life /different shels types . I'm living around 7 miles away from opened waters and thise grounds was underwater as well.
Even the whole tip Florida on those maps was a lot shorter . That's why i believe that California WAS an island at some point.

The gold in CA could've come from the previous civilization of Califia, ruled by Black women! Disney even made a depiction of this years back...

@@geomansee it’s all super interesting, when I find gold, some pieces about half the size of a grain of rice up to a 25 cent piece/Quarter it’s such a rush. I think about where it’s been, how it got it’s shape. And for the most part it’s not something someone like dropped, I do think it’s possible that a major event happened and things got spread out, but the natural geography of my area I believe also attributes to the concentration of gold found. I think the inner ocean of California was real.

Years ago I watched a documentary about a major flood that was triggered by a tsunami, off the Pacific Ocean. There are remnants of sea life, soil deposits, etc... hundreds of miles inland. Washington State, Oregon and California State were looked at. Of course Canada would have been affected as well. There are many islands off the BC coastline today. My daughter and her family took a trip from BC to California coast this last summer, and they stayed in Crescent City, California. A local fish fry restaurant spoke of a major flooding event that had shaped their coastline.
Documentary 30 - 40 years ago, possibly aired on PBS. Washington State was focused on.

Could have been the tsunami created by the cascadia subduction zone earthquake. There are stories from native Americans of it from the early 1800s, created a massive tsunami

Coturnix Quail are worth looking into if you eat eggs (or quails, gasp). If you have restrictions keeping chickens, quails are a good workaround. First domesticated by the ancient Egyptians, I'm told. I've noticed them in some of their hieroglyphs.
    Excellent (eggsellent?) video as always.

I'm very impressed with your work. Define particularly interested in the remote viewing of how they created maps. I know that the special forces use remote viewing. I also want to congratulate you about the Jon Levi shout-out. Thank you very much for the bonus. I grew a garden when I was a kid and had a lot of food. My grandfather had a garden that was 2 acres and we had more food than we knew what to do with. Much of it went to waste. It also fed a lot of wildlife. Thank you for including the maps.

I am sure I am late to thus but Static in the Attic has a great video outlining how there was a huge lake up in the mountains there above CA and you can see on Google earth where all the land was pulled down into the gulf of California, it's crazy because you can see where it completely plugged in that gap there...anyway good stuff dude
