@@saltychips5795 REALLY???? THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW ❣️🤭 I'M SO VERY VERY HAPPY AND THANKFUL TO HEAR THAT HE IS HOPEFULLY WITH A FAMILY WHO I TRULY HOPE ARE TREATING HIM WELL AND LOVING HIM AS HE DESERVES ❤️🤔
they aren't going to update you this UA-cam channel didn't produce this show. Watch "The Dog Rescuers" on demand somewhere and you might see an answer one day.
Since nobody apparently took even a minute to look the info up themselves I'd suggest you Google a post titled "The RSPCA says goodbye to Marvin" Marvin was adopted I found that info in under two minutes.
Lol love the artist and Billy with peanut butter. So sad about older dogs. They have alot of love to give. Bigsie and his owner, Janet, along with her family are precious. I hope Marvin, the Gentle Giant gets a loving home.
My daughter adopted a staffie cross who was three, and had been in the shelter system for two and a half years. He had been moved from shelter to shelter in the hopes of finding him a home. He was at his last stop before euthanasia and he had completely given up. He acted like he couldn’t care less when she walked him, and acted like a jerk. But she saw through it. On the ride home, he was a completely different dog, he knew he was headed home. He’s an old man now and still a jerk sometimes, but such a sweet loyal boi. DNA revealed he was actually a designer dog, a Labrastaff.
I hope from my heart that all the beautiful dogs comes out to a loving home ❤ old dogs blind dog they deserves a loving forever home they are so great dogs ❤ plece someone give them a good home
It would be great if they could bring him to you 🙂 He deserves a home, even a foster home for the time being until he finds a permanent loving home ❤️🐾💞
Wish? They said that you can contact them if interested in being a dog rescuer. Doesn’t matter where ya live. You just wish huh? Not truly interested in rescuing Marvin. Sounds good to say it though huh?
Lost my big poodle girl at 15 yrs year before last in August and in Nov volunteered to foster a retriever/poodle in need.. and he’s now mine.. fell in love. Couldn’t help it.
I so hope that they found Marvin a good home by now... 💔 What a great tempered lovely cuddle ball.... He deffo deserves better than a life in a kennel 😕
billy just pointing out a suggestion my mom got her blind mini pincher shes passed now . lived a long happy l life being loved. she put a halo collar on her and it halo on her . it helped her so much. the halo bumped into things before she did.
I had a deaf/blind Dachshund. He was a piece of cake to train. Tactile, (rugs to smooth floors for area training) smell and vibration taught him to get around. Just blind will be very easy. If I could afford to get him to NY I'd take him.
Having had a blind dog who was uncomfortable around other dogs as well, it really was not that difficult. They truly do come to know their surroundings and move about without an issue at home. Stairs can be easily managed once they know them. When it comes to other dogs you simply avoid them. I know some folks want that dog they can go to the dog park with but really, dont we want a canine companion to love and cuddle with so, that said, I think for the love of him/her in your life, the dog park can be skipped and simply go for nice jaunts in the neighborhood.
I’ve had a dog who went blind and he did pretty well because he used smell, feel and sound to navigate his world. I also have had some large dogs over the years and a couple of dogs that were smaller but needed grooming. I personally would take on a big dog’s appetite over the expense and hassle of grooming a poodle or such. But then I always had several dogs at a time so the food bill didn’t stand out like the ones I had to take to the groomer.
How ironic is it that this episode was uploaded on March 24th of this year and it’s a Christmas themed episode and now it’s Christmas Eve of this year. That’s actually pretty hilarious to me. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Omg the mess poor Marvin was rescued from and I noticed his tale has been docked, gosh he's a big beautiful boy and I wish I could adopt him, my 'Bullmastiff' passed away a year ago and this boy would be so loved and I know he'd love the beach 🏖️ drives in the car so his slobbers can blow in the wind, but I live on the other side of the world, I hope Marvin gets the home he so deserves 🙏🏽
Great meg if your willing to adopt marvin , you can find one like marvin or another breed big like him .... ones that have their own sad stories waiting for homes ..... and it sounds meg like the beach walks would be a big hit with any animal from a shelter or sanctuary.....
MARVIN WOULD MAKE A GREAT POLICE OR AIRPOST DRUG SCENT DOG OR HERE IN THE STATES HE'D MAKE A GREAT BORDER PATROL DRUG SCENT DOG. HE HAS GREAT POTENTIAL.
AWSOME SO YOU SAY YOU WANT TO HELP THAT BLIND FURBABY ..... WELL GUESS WHAT IN AMERICA YOU CAN FIND MILLIONS OF ADOPTABLE ANIMALS READY FOR A HOME AND SOME ARE BLIND OR WORSE ........ go online check your local shelters see they're faces and stories
I wouldn't mind taking the blind and reactive dog. I have experience with reactive dogs, and I wouldn't mind learning how to adapt that experience to a blind dog. Then again, I do live in Finland, and I am only 19
My lovely senior boy is reactive towards other dogs, and we have almost entirely worked it into a nonexistent issue. Even when it becomes an issue, he doesn't freeze anymore and instead can turn around and leave the situation, which is good enough for me. I don't expect him to get over the trauma of another dog attacking him. Once he has been able to get used to a dog at his own pace, he is friendly and playful, but he can't do it with every dog he meets, so we have practiced other coping mechanism for his fear of strange dogs
26:28 Marvin's size would not be a problem for me. What would stop me is the fact that Marvin is a male and the slobber, and his age. Also I don't like the idea of a home visit. I don't like to feel judged or told what to do.
I hope they do find homes, but I wouldn't have a dog if you paid me. I do have my reasons, I'm happy to admire from afar, but licks, slobbers, jumping up, being needy, the greediness, and the potential destruction, no never again. I'll stick to my cat thanks. Nevertheless I really do sincerely hope these lovely animals get a forever home.
Dang girl sounds like you had a bad experience with dogs ...... destruction and greediness isnt something a happy well provided for dog will demonstrate ........ glad to hear you have cats ,just hope your taking care of them properly .... new water daily plenty of food clean I repeat clean cat box daily along with toys and no abuse ....hope all goes good selby

Billy looks content, but with slightly nervous.
Sadly people don't adopt older dogs because they know they will lose them sooner.. I have lost a few and its so hard.

Being blind is a disability but it becomes normal to them,if you just give some time and understanding, there’s no problem

we use a licking mat in the tub with our dog because he is terrified of water.

Why do I always see dogs on here ready and looking for their new forever homes…and they haven’t been neutered? That makes no sense.
