CCR has some awesome songs. Long As I Can See the Light is my favorite from them. Proud Mary, Born On The Bayou, and Fortunate Son are all fantastic too.
Growing up in the 1970s, I was told this song was a war protest song, the "rain coming down on a sunny day" was a reference to bullets raining down. Peace and love to you, Adnan.
Hello Adnan. A bit of background about this song: "In his autobiography Fortunate Son, John Fogerty didn't mince words about his frustration at the time he wrote the 1971 hit. “'Have You Ever Seen The Rain' is about the breakup of the band,” he confided. “I was feeling, 'Man, we achieved all our dreams. And you guys are only talking about negative stuff." The band broke up in 1972. Fogerty's voice is unmistakable. "Fortunate Son" and "Born On The Bayou" are two great songs from this band. I think you might especially like "Born On The Bayou" - maybe consider it next? Best to you, your family, and friends. kf
Hi Adnan, just found you through your Linkin Park reaction and immediatly subscribed to your channel, you are just such a sympathetic person! I hope you are well and I'm looking forward to seeing more of you! :)
Great suggestion, whoever made it. Havent heard this for a while. Such a fantastic dong. Love 70's rock. So emotive and you get lost when listening to it.
Adnan, check out RUN THROUGH THE JUNGLE. SUZY Q. BORN ON THE BAYOU. GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY. BOOTLEG. Adnan, there are too many. Listen to their entire discography. 🤞✌️
CCR is great~ For a song with a truly happy vibe, try "Looking Out My Backdoor" which he wrote for his kid, I believe? Also I think the sound you were talking about at the end was the electric organ. It was pretty popular around that time with the Gospel Music movement and all. It has a really neat sound.
@@adnanreacts92 "You've Got the Love" is a gem and it's short. It's the one I thought you would like as an intro to her. She has a ton of great ones though. She's a red headed british woman rocker. She's the pinnacle of talent. Others that are great are; "Drumming song" "Strangeness and Charm" one of her most famous is probably, "Dog Days are Over" at the beginning of her career. "Sweet Nothing" is a collaboration she does that's like an electric-pop thing. She's one of the few artists like Lord Huron where their catalogue has more good songs than bad.
