I just read the Quillettte article. As a former academic ( I work in private industry now ) I can not tell you how profoundly disturbing this is. Universities are becoming the book burners that they were supposed to protect us from.

It is best called by its true name: corruption. The academy has been corrupted by ideologues whose true loyalty is to their chosen ideology rather than truth.

I find this appalling. I apologize for my lack of being more articulate. There was no way for me to understand the original article but the evidence was clear, reading your article on the response/s of your paper. Very frightening to think about a child’s education today.
