  • I use this homemade mascara as my everyday mascara because its natural, lasts well and is really affordable. I have always considered products i use around my eyes as the most important to be natural /free of nasty chemicals, and mascara is one of my regularly used products. I have been making this homemade mascara for ages and is a combination of a few things i have come across over the years.
    DIY Natural Mascara Recipe:
    - 3 capsules activated charcoal www.iherb.com/nature-s-way-cha...
    - 1 tsp coconut oil
    - 1 tsp vitamin e oil www.iherb.com/rexall-sundown-n...
    - 1/2 tsp soy wax or beeswax
    - 3-4 tsp aloe vera gel
Melt the oils and wax together in a double boiler. Add the aloe gel, then activated charcoal. Mix thoroughly, then transfer into desired container.
    DIY Gel Eyeliner Recipe:

    Where I bought:

Honesly, the quality of a mascara isn't in the formula, it's based on how good the brush is. So this tutorial is perfect because even though the formula might not be as great as the store bought mascaras, as long as you use the right mascara brush, it'll look great. I recommend the maybelline falsies or the miss manga one :)

you can also use a baking syringe. you pull the Syringe apart and put you mixture inside the tube of the Syringe and then put the end of the Syringe back on and it help you transfer the mascara formula better with out risk of mess
