I just started the 150k TopStep account on Friday. Made $624. Looking for to next week to pass it. I size heavy at key levels and only trade at the top & bottom channels. (This is first prop firm challenge). But I’m a scalper and trade only the 1 min. I try to wait for ES to drop with a big candle stick, that’s always a liquidity grab and buyers step in 90%. That’s a 3-5 pt move for a quick scalp at 15 contracts that’s easily $3k-4.3k. Then you’re done for the day. I’m a SWE by trade so I try to be precise for the hour I have in the morning. I was an option trader trading SPY which is why I chose ES. I still execute based off the SPY chart. I can’t wait to move to the funded account. My goal is to only withdraw $3k a week. Just 1-3 good trades in the morning.
@@Riccotrades likewise, this week will be big since $SPY is expect to rally more before it before it dumps when it reaches $535. That’s like a 50pt day for ES. I wish my account was funded because I would get about 10-20 pts. Then trade 5 contracts the rest of the week.

So after you pass the challenge do you get to keep the 50k account they give you? Like could you withdraw the 50k and keep it if you wanted to?
No 50k is the base. Anything u make on top of it is yours. But you can drop below 48k or you lose the account. And start from square one
