- Here is my Mesa Boogie Mark IIC++ through some good ole Marshall voiced V30s. They are a bit brighter than traditional 8 ohm Mesa v30s everyone is used to. They cut REALLY well. For the head through a Mesa oversized with Mesa voiced V30s check my other video. This head is legendary for a reason. It's hard to believe how long ago it came out, and the sounds that can be achieved using it. The settings I used are as pictured. This is an SRG, which is seemed to be thought of as the most aggressive sounding model. This amp started its life out as a non eq sr combo. I had Mike B recently service and convert it to an SRG; he used a III chassis. To my knowledge this is one of the last ones done, as rumor has it all the chassis are gone now and you cannot convert a non eq version to eq.
I dug the format I did with the Wizard MTL video, so did the same thing here. If you dig it, like, subscribe.
Playing my Jackson Warrior Custom Shop in Eb Standard.
I did a couple of weedly wopps here because someone complained I don’t do leads on my demos.
I did post this yesterday, and realized something happened to second half with clipping? Anyway, redid that part.
Sounds like my favorite 80's thrash. Love it.
All about the 80s thrash!
sick sounds my friend. at first i thought I was on a Trogly video when you were talking
Haha that’s been posted before. Never actually heard of him before that; maybe a long lost relative!
It’s not how much gain it the quality of the sound. This head unit just provides a unique sound that sounds phenomenal. You could throw it onto a recording instantly and it would just sit right. That’s what makes it timeless.
I agree, through every cab, every player it still sounds like a mark. Real cool stuff.
Dope tone and dope blood splatter Warrior!
It is the best playing guitar I’ve ever had. Pat is a master of his craft.
@@Brandon-RZ I bet! A custom shop Warrior is on my short list or an original with slanted pups and short scale.
0:55 its just one of those days when you dont wanna wake up
Damn. You got a nice collection.
dude sick tone wtf
Sick Demo, loved the Battery riffin’/solos
Thanks man!
Awesome dude! BTW, where are you located? I found an SR combo locally around the holidays, but when I called the store to inquire about it, they said it just sold! I was considering sending it to Mike B as well. When I spoke with Mike B around that time he said they're still converting if they're able to find MKIII's to salvage parts. He ended up getting back to me in Feb saying he was able to source some parts, but told him the amp in question sold. Anyway... I own a IIC+ SG with MKIII faceplate as well, serviced and GEQ added in mid 2023, which started out as an S combo. Kick ass amps!
sounds great.
Sounds great. Widdly widdly waa!
And da da da daddle da da !!🤟🤟
Wow love it.
Thanks man!
I would love to hear how responsible the Marshall cab is for this tone. It would be fantastic to do a comparison between this cab, and a V3 loaded recto cab for comparison.
Wiked man 😢 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Do a comparison video: joyo bantamp zombie 2 with an EQ pedal in the effects loop versus the Mk2 c++
Getcha Boogie on brother. Would love to have one myself.
If you’re looking for the next best thing I recommend the no stripe/ black stripe mark III. Sounds super close.
How would you describe the ++ mod. Im debating having it done on my C+ DRG
Bro, you sound so much like trogly it’s hurting my head😵💫. Also sick sounds from the boogie !!
No idea who that is, but thanks!
Trogly Guitar Show, one of the biggest guitar youtubers@@Brandon-RZ
Can't quite tell, is the treble pulled and pull deep pushed in?
Correct. Other black album tone video has both pulled.
To hear the same amp through a Mesa oversized W Mesa OEM V30s check my other video. Subscribe, it helps!
This or the Wizard?
Very tough call…
I want one so bad, Wish I coudl get one. I found a IIB, but that's it.
I’d recommend the III no stripe. It gets really close. I’ve seen them pop up on guitar center used recently; may still be there.
