I finally bought the Elite on sale last week $100 off which came to only $299, from another Company. Then 2 days later I got an email from Therabody giving the Pro 4th Gen on sale for 50% off, that’s a deal, which also totaled $299. So I went ahead & bought it too, gonna just give the Elite as a Christmas gift to a family member, since I haven’t used it yet. ❤
Just purchased the Theragun Elite and it's amazing! I'm so happy. I'm a massage therapist and my thumb has been bothering me. I love the attachment for hands and feet A LOT!
Im confused about the rotating arm on the pro. Doesn’t the gun have to be hitting the muscle directly to do anything or can you like scrape it up and down your back with the arm extended for the same result
Great video! I have one important question: You were able to stop the elite with your hand. Did this happen anytime to you while you were actually massaging your body? Or is the motor of the elite really strong enough? Thank you.
Hey Martin, There is a slight difference between the two in terms of the no-stall force. The Pro delivers up to 60lbs of no-stall force, compared to 40lbs with the Elite however the speed range is the same on both at 1750-2400 PPMs. The elite will not stop unless a large force is placed on the head while massaging as demonstrated in the video. If you're after more force we definitely recommend the Pro, can't beat it! Thanks, The WOD Life
@@ThewodlifeAu Hello, dont think you answered his question. I have the same question in mind, so I think he meant when massaging with both the pro and the elite, especially the elite, do you ever even stall the motor? Or are you able to massage normally on both.
Hey @@cypherpls , The difference is in the strength of the no-stall force. The Pro is 60lbs compared to the Elite which is 40lbs. This means a stronger pressure can be applied to the Pro however we find that when using the Elite we have no issues at all either in terms of this. Hope that helps! Thanks, The WOD Life
I have the elite, it has not stalled on me. It's actually difficult to get enough leverage to stop it when you're actively using it, even when I try to do it intentionally. At present, the elite is about 1/3 less in price. I really feel like the pro is more someone like a physical therapist.

Is the pro worth it for the extra 20 pounds of force? Or is the elite good enough for pretty much everyone? I'm a big dude and need as much jam as I can get.
Would the pro be worth it for a married couple who would potentially share or us the gun back to back? Or is the elite battery life sufficient? We’re moderate fitness enthusiasts
@@terrierlover i've never used one before. so I was asking based on how long one normally uses it, is the second battery, longer battery life, etc. worth it
@@Pandacudi we definitely have a lot of couples who purchase this to share and help each other with their recovery post training! The battery life in either is definitely sufficient enough for you both to be able to use it!
dam it having hard time choosing witch one ?? I could get the elite with a wave vibrating roller bundle for $449 vs the pro for $599. I think the 60lb stall force on the pro is mores suited for my life style of heavy lifting+ somewhat manual labor job tho.
We definitely recommend the Pro, particularly if you like the feature of the 60lb stall force. Such an excellent recovery tool you can't go wrong with either but if you're training a lot and doing lots of heavy lifts the Pro is guaranteed to help you recover quicker, meaning you can train harder! Thanks, The WOD Life
Which one would you recommend for a couple to use on each other? My s/o got in a car accident and has a decent amount of shoulder pain. Do you think the elite will suffice? Or should I opt for pro?
I have a pinched nerve it is more painful to me then childbirth was and the elite literally gets rid of all the pain as long as i use it regularly. Elite will suffice .
Hey Malik, It's not necessarily about the weight of the person but more so about the type of training you're doing and the amount of recovery you're currently doing? The Pro really is the best option in our eyes as it ticks all the boxes recovery wise for those who train hard and regularly! Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks, The WOD Life
Looking at these because I bought a cheap one, and either I’m too hard on it or it’s of questionable quality, because it sounds like a tin can full of bolts when I turn it on now 😂
Ive watched a few massage gun videos and I just can't help but wonder if it's comfortable to use on your back in the sense that you have to put your hand behind your back Honest question. I am looking for one for the back. I have also looked for the seat back massagers but I just want something that is effective and will massage the whole back and or neck
There will always be some noise with these recovery tools however the Pro is the most powerful so if you're looking for a stronger recovery tool that's your answer!
DO NOT BUY THERAGUN - customer service is the worst! you spend $600 on the gun and they only guarantee the attachments for 30 days. They want you to spend $20 every 60-90 days to replace the attachments, information that they hide away in the FAQ section. I've tried the hypervolt and other percussion massagers at similar price points and they do the exact same job for a fraction of the price
Bought the Pro 6 months ago, one of the batteries already dead and not charging. Theragun only give 90 day warranty on its batteries. Totally unacceptable customer service and warranty period. I got sold a poor battery. Stay away from Theragun!! You are better getting a cheaper alternative. Maybe they should spend more on the product quality and less on £M advertising.
Impressed you were able to keep a straight face holding all the heads on your fingers like a kid does with olives. Loved it.

Thank You so much for this I'm a heavy handed guy so I'll have to go with the pro. Thanks for helping me choose.
Short and sweet and still covered the critical points 👍🏾.
Glad you liked it!
Best review I’ve seen or read on theraguns. Thanks so much!
Glad it was helpful!
best review and comparison of these products, quick, and kept me engaged
i bought the pro for lower back pain. applied it and started feeling better the next day
Is this the Elite older 3rd version in this video? I believe the 4th newest version is quieter.
Short and sweet. To the point ❤
Isn't the pro the only one with detachable battery?
Best review of this... thanx!
Thanks for your feedback!
It truly is
Best review, great comparison rather than just stating the specs. Elite for me!
Glad you liked it!

Happens to me often on the elite on my back
Can you buy the extra soft attachment by itself if you only buy the elite?
Great comparison thanks
Glad you enjoyed William!
I’m really digging the elite for the noise level alone. I have the g3pro but not worth the pro upgrade. I only use one arm position anyway.
Thanks! Gonna get the pro!
I have the pro and love it. Recommend you get the dual head attachment
so in terms of power and depth, they are the same?

Is it possible to reach your back, major romboid with the Elite? Or better to take the Pro with the movable arm!

You can sell your eyebrows to the hairdresser

The triangular shape of the Theragun makes it easier to reach more of the areas on your back, but the best way is to ask a friend to help you.
