Just found a 12 inch version of this in a box while getting ready to move house. Forgot all about it. Now I remember the dance floor going absolutely mental in Snobs and The Powerhouse back in Brum in the '80's.
Proper midlands banger , remember it used to go off on the dancefloor when this came on 👌🏼

Great track always filled the dancefloor in rum runner and most Brummie clubs, those where the days. Remember meeting Luke sky of fashion band at runner chatted all night we all thought would be massive turned out the Duran boys did it instead.
and every football oriented disco, got banned from being played in nearly every club in the west mids cos of the fighting it caused lol

Absolutely ❤This song massive at community centre discos on a Friday night in great wyrley absolutely fantastic unfortunately the one friend who went with us died last year by suicide bought on by depression 😢 such a huge loss
Great tune, the dancing was the same in the 80's,
It's still a good song. Although it is over 40years old. It's a bit of a shame that they were only a 1hit wonder.

Andy Hill I think it was only really a big hit in and around Brum. My Mrs is from the south and she’d never heard it which really shocked. But upon hearing it she absolutely loved it!! Every wedding we now attend and it comes she’s up on the dance floor!
