Thanks for mentioning its resemblance to Surr at a tenth of the price. I have the red one and it feels very expensive. Some players may want to change the pups' but the body and necks are immaculate. Also, I got mine in 2021 for $269. Probably the best purchase of my life. Excellent improvement on the way you are presenting these guitars. Thanks.

Thanks for looking at these. I've looked at them before and wondered if it was worth it, even at that price. I don't need one, but if it was a first guitar or a gift, I'd say heck yeah. Love the blue.
Very nice! What surprises me is with the nice SS frets, roasted neck, flame top, is where they cut corners, and didn't. Why the extra cost for a roasted mahogany body when it's going to be painted? There's some cost(s) that would have been better channeled towards a decent switch and alnico pick ups. I'm kinda with you on the head stock, does nothing for me, and not much one could do about that.

Thanks for everything you do man, it’s helped me so much and I’m obsessed with guitars and gear and you pointed me in the direction and I made a lot of expensive decisions based on your videos and I’ve been 1000% happy with all of them!
So if you took that added some nice pups , possibly an obsidian four way solder less and a babicz full contact bridge. You would have something special. Even a Wilkinson bridge would be awesome.
Well, you can get the rosewood strat for $269, but the AlNico pickup guitars are all now $399, which is still underpriced, considering if you use the link and buy from Amazon, you can return it within 30 days. To me this is a no brainer. I would probably spend another $30 and get the maple AlNico Strat pickup version.
Plan to eventually get one as a mod platform. A friend has the HSS Strat copy and it's phenomenal for the price. Neck pickup is a little dark but otherwise it sounded great! Nice review!
Landon, what about the pickups? I think that was the one thing McKnight did not like & would switch out. Everything else looks really good. I am considering buying this model. Thanks for the review!
@@Gene_Cali me too, and I’ve been using a Tele as my #1 for about a decade now. Once I played one with noiseless pickups, I found my sound. More bang than twang.
Looks super nice. Maybe they should change their name to eART (eeart)with A flashy logo and some high end vintage pick ups and compete with the Mexican Telecaster market.
Amazes me that Eart and Harley Benton are willing to go out and do the ss frets while fender charge you up the wazoo and Gibson and PRS don’t touch him.
I’ve been tempted many times by these Eart products. Everything I ever buy is always based on “best for the money”. But in this case, I’ll save the money I would spend on this Eart and apply it towards the Sire T7 I have on preorder with Sweetwater. The Eart seems like a good deal, though.
@@deandee8082 I agree those Eart frets look damn near perfect. However in the time since I posted my comment (2 months ago), I've received my Sire. Although not stainless (which I knew), these frets are impeccable! Beautifully dressed ends, perfectly level, and polished smooth. At the price, I was a little sceptical about all the rave reviews about the Sires and their incredible fret-work, but this thing actually exceeded my hopes. All in all, I'd say the Eart and Sire products are excellent alternatives to the higher-priced big boys.
Very nice guitar. I had the EARt T-380, beautiful easy playing axe like my Suhr, but without work and upgrade it just won't jive with me. For this price point I found the M MUSI Virgo Classic Electric Guitar, Roasted Maple Compound Fingerboard, Locking Tuners to be superior, out of the box.
Great guitar for the money easy It’s interesting to hear Phil McKnight’s understanding on the industry with these types of brands- he says they are attempting to obtain a huge market share by pricing low on Amazon which brings up their presence and visibility, then prices go up
The intro had me in stitches Landon 😂😂 Do you think everyone will get it? I’ve heard talk of these frets, never experienced them with my own hands but they’re meant to be good for the price range if the guitar 🎸
Ok, just going to comment right now before I watch and say that I just order the headless GW2 from EART, it gets here tomorrow. I may need a bigger place soon. 😬
Looks like a nice guitar but the only thing that kind of turns me off is the pickguard. Could you tell me if a standard Tele pickguard would fit and the screw holes line up provided you drill an extra screw hole for the top corner?
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if EA were trying to cash in on guitars now. I guess the DLC here would include a real selector switch and locking tuners.
Oh, well, guess I'll be adding an EART guitar to my wish list. Thanks, Landon! By the way, that routing on the neck pickup, is that big enough for a P90? I've no experience with P90s, so that'd be a fun project. I heard P90s sound neat on Tele style guitars.
Great video Landon. If you take the neck off and look inside the screw holes is it the same caramel colour all the way through? If it’s not, the neck is not roasted. The original Eart guitar I bought (The S version of your Tele) was described as Roasted Maple Neck and when I checked it actually wasn’t. That’s an awful light colour if it is roasted. Just curious. Great video as always.
@@landonbailey I have the EART NCK-1 (I think I have that model correct) It's the strat version of that tele. The description says roasted Maple. My first clue that it wasn't came when the nut fell off on the first string change. The color under the nut didn't match the color of the neck AT ALL and since no glue had been applied to that area I knew it was the bare wood I was seeing. It was way lighter in color. My understanding is that if a neck is roasted, it's the same color all the way through. I took the neck off the guitar and checked the screw holes. Same thing. They also say the neck is carbon fiber reinforced. I have serious doubts about that. The next guitar they sent me does appear to have a genuine roasted neck but the color is weird. Not at all like my Ibanez AZ Prestige. The main benefit of a Roasted neck is the added stability. I have NEVER had to set up my Prestige after the initial setup. It sits in my studio which is in my garage. There are wild swings in temperature and humidity there. I picked up the EART CP-1 after a couple of months and had to do a complete setup on what was supposedly a roasted maple neck. I'm tempted to saw the neck in half and see if there are carbon rods in there or not. I have serious doubts. For the money, I'd go with the Ibanez AZ Premium. Just my two cents. Sorry for the novel. Also, I'm happy to share pics and videos with you if you'd like to see my observations. I also don't mean to dump on your video. I've followed you for years and I know you're a stand-up guy that only recommends what he believes in. I'm just making you aware of something you might not know.
@@Varocka I have both. The Ibanez new is closer to 3 grand. It’s a far superior instrument in every possible way. You get what you pay for and I’d say that’s a true today as ever. I’d say look at the Ibanez AZ Premium line. Affordable and still awesome. Based on my experience I would be very unlikely to try another Eart. Just my two cents though. To each their own. Cheers.
For that price they should give you Alnico magnet pole piece pickups and not crappy ceramic magnets ones. The Eart version of the Strat comes with Alnico pole magnet pickups, so why the discrimination for us Tele type guitar fanciers?
Maybe they figure most folks (judging by other comments) are just going to replace the pickups before plugging it in. The price is a steal with such attention payed to the neck & frets.
@@shaunw9270 If they can supply their version of the Strat with 3 Alnico magnet pole piece pickups for the same sale price as this Tele type guitar then why not do it and bring this guitar to a higher quality level.
Depending on the guitar I like ceramic or alnico. I have alnico on my cv 60s thinline and epiphone es-339. My Godin Radium has ceramic humbuckers in the neck and bridge and ceramic single coil in the middle. All three sound awesome.
Gotta say it was a good thing I wasn't drinking tea when you said " It's in the guitar!" They were introduced with ugly mint green pickguards and a $200 CAD price on Amazon in 2020. A few UA-cam reviews and 2 years later they are now almost $500. That's a lot to spend on something without a track record. With the pandemic over, it's going to be a budget brand slugfest.
Someone, anyone, really needs to just take one of these guitars and sand off the lower leg of the E on the headstock. Really. The logo doesn't look that nice anyway. Having it say " Fart" on the headstock would make this guitar a win.
i was hoping to see if it had ability for some tele tones ,, unfortunatly due to his incessant frantic noodling ,,it could have been any guitar plugged in to his effects gear....
All these fake fender brands are nice specwise ect. , but man those ugly headstocks really put me off , that's why a squire cv guitar still is the best option if you want a fender on a bugdet imo , put some better pu's and pots in it if you feel the need to upgrade and you have a guitar that play's and sounds great too and looks like an real fender .
Not a tribute to Suhr. Tons of guitars have a similar headstock and a headstock does not constitute a copy. The headstock is 10% of the guitar the rest is 90% and the rest is a Tele so mathematically it would be a Fender copy.

@@Gene_Cali me too, and I’ve been using a Tele as my #1 for about a decade now. Once I played one with noiseless pickups, I found my sound. More bang than twang.
Looks super nice. Maybe they should change their name to eART (eeart)with
A flashy logo and some high end vintage pick ups and compete with the Mexican Telecaster market.
Looks and sounds very good for the money.. I'd be curious to know how it feels and performs compared to more higher end or expensive Telecasters ..
🎸👍
My kind of Tele because it has a belly cut and an arm contour 👍
I just ordered the GW-2 headless guitar a couple of days ago. I hope it's good 😬
what part of canada are you from and nice review
Ottawa
Amazes me that Eart and Harley Benton are willing to go out and do the ss frets while fender charge you up the wazoo and Gibson and PRS don’t touch him.
would like to get my hands on one of these. I heard these guitars are excellent besides their pickups
La tastiera è laccata? 👍🤘
I’ve been tempted many times by these Eart products. Everything I ever buy is always based on “best for the money”. But in this case, I’ll save the money I would spend on this Eart and apply it towards the Sire T7 I have on preorder with Sweetwater. The Eart seems like a good deal, though.
you wont get NEAR the fret job you will with eart, no jokes
I got one and I like it.
Great guitar for the money easy
It’s interesting to hear Phil McKnight’s understanding on the industry with these types of brands- he says they are attempting to obtain a huge market share by pricing low on Amazon which brings up their presence and visibility, then prices go up
The EA Sports tag made me laugh out loud!!! I love you, Landon!!! HAHAAAAaaah!!!!
great review and nice guitar..lots to like and better overall work than fender does...
🎸👍
EART is an acronym for:
Electric
Audio
Resonating
Thingy
that’s correct…I looked it up😳
sounds legit!
How are the pickups? would you recommend it over the Sire
I liked the pickups. I've never tried a Sire so I can't compare
@@landonbailey thanks so much,I might buy one today, appreciate your advice
Wow, that Eart has a lot of bang for the buck.
Hi Landon,I want to buy a Tele, whould you recommend the Eart or the Fender Player for more money, thanks
I would recommend both
The intro had me in stitches Landon 😂😂
Do you think everyone will get it?
I’ve heard talk of these frets, never experienced them with my own hands but they’re meant to be good for the price range if the guitar 🎸
There's something about this guitar that just makes me wanna call it Wyatt, which likely would have looked better on the Suhr copy headstock. 🤔
Ok, just going to comment right now before I watch and say that I just order the headless GW2 from EART, it gets here tomorrow.
I may need a bigger place soon. 😬
the intanashion will be way off. My eart will need work. Will have to move the ash tray. Lets have a look at the intanation on yours!!
Ear--T paid me to comment. Is the neck truly roasted? or is stained to look roasted? Just curious.. been eyeing one of these for a while now.
Have you ever sustained bodily injury while capturing tones?
well being canada i would prob shell out the extra 100 and get a classic vibe tele. but cool guitar if it was 300 but hey.
I have their headless guitar. It’s all really good actually
Can you please review M Musi guitars.
How hard would it be to erase the bottom of the "E" on the headstock?
but what does Flectroacoustic Art mean! 🤪
It's nice but I think I would rather have a 60s Classic vibe telecaster in Sunburst!!!...Just saying
Looks like a nice guitar but the only thing that kind of turns me off is the pickguard. Could you tell me if a standard Tele pickguard would fit and the screw holes line up provided you drill an extra screw hole for the top corner?
Is the edge of the fretboard rolled like on the squire? E A Art ‘tsin the Game
I haven't had a Squier with rolled edges
@@landonbailey it is in the squire thinline tele classic vibe
nice! I don't recall the EART being rolled. check out the video closeups
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if EA were trying to cash in on guitars now. I guess the DLC here would include a real selector switch and locking tuners.
awesome, they have an EU warehouse, so now that I've moved I might buy one... do you have an affiliate link from them, to help the channel a little?
hey cool! no I just have the Amazon affiliate link which redirects to the local Amazon based on your location. Don't worry about it! cheers
Excellent guitars for the money. More like Suhr guitar than a Tele imho.
Great video as always.
hey thanks! Im not to check on that, but that's pretty interesting if it's not what they claim
@@LucasCrossleyGuitar for the money? isn't the eart like 25% of the cost of an AZ prestige?
@@Varocka I have both. The Ibanez new is closer to 3 grand. It’s a far superior instrument in every possible way. You get what you pay for and I’d say that’s a true today as ever. I’d say look at the Ibanez AZ Premium line. Affordable and still awesome. Based on my experience I would be very unlikely to try another Eart. Just my two cents though. To each their own. Cheers.
Ceramic pickups?
@Phucker Assington Maybe some people were born with an Oscilloscope in addition to their ears lol
Do you think a tele pickguard would fit. I get you would need to drill some holes but size wise would it work?
I'm going to have to check that out and make a short video about it
EARTH or HEART very clever branding.
Ohhh….those fret measurements…now that’s freakin funny 😆
you win. nobody else noticeed. you are the 1rd person!
Forget the guitar (which, BTW, looks amazing for the price) I want a GUITARPHAGUS!!
😆
Someone, anyone, really needs to just take one of these guitars and sand off the lower leg of the E on the headstock. Really. The logo doesn't look that nice anyway. Having it say " Fart" on the headstock would make this guitar a win.
Honestly, it looks nice as hell. I almost ordered a headless but just wasn't impressed with the body shape
i was hoping to see if it had ability for some tele tones ,, unfortunatly due to his incessant frantic noodling ,,it could have been any guitar plugged in to his effects gear....
I think you meant hoping to hear. use your ears :)
Suhr what?
what's the full question?
@@landonbailey A joke about the suhr that cost a lot of money, the EART is as good for less money.
ah got it! it's hard to understand some things through text :)
That E A R T IT’S IN THE GUITAR 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
better than squier? better than custom shops, both of them.. no jokes
they are pretty impressive!
