i, he does. it's feels really awkward when he is trying to get in with them. Seems like the reality is that he has not spoken to them for 20 years and didn't know if they ever liked him in the first place. Mind why should we assume that the Big 4 get on so well. The only time I remember them being partly together was the Clash of the Titans Tour 1990 where Megadeath and Slayer double headlined the bill. It was 1986 when Anthrax toured in support of Metallica, on their UK leg of the tour at least, but I don't remember old tours with Metallica and Slayer together. This is the first time I have really seen them together.
Absolutely. Mind you given the stuff he's produced, death was probably the other option. Many of us have drank enough to flood a battleship but Hetfield... probably a fleet.
You are all childish. The people in this video are all mature human beings. They do not worry about whether or not each others music is 'metal' enough. Being friendly and respectful and grateful is much more important than whose riffs are 'heavier'. And they all know that.
SPPV Turns out they were right with the whole Napster deal. The music industry is in shambles and most artists, even successful ones, can barely make ends meet. Trading shitty 4th generation cassettes of a live concert is completely different than sharing 100% pure digital copies just like you'd get on the CD. Metallica was right: art isn't free, it is a product. Pay for it.
Yes, a bootleg that is the exact same quality as what you pay for. It's stealing. Yes, the big companies didn't adapt properly and were greedy in most cases in terms pf what they paid to artists who got bad contracts. However, that doesn't make it okay to simply not pay for music/movies as many do today. Unless you are an established act with millions of followers you are basically making nothing today off of recordings. It costs money and time to make quality products, and it sickens me when I see people happily steal and think it is okay because "everyone does it" and it is easy.
Take Metallica and your dislike for them completely out of the argument then. It has nothing to do with them. It's the principle that you pay for goods and services that someone worked to provide for you, not find some workaround so you can get it for nothing.
