- Constitutional Carry passed the Texas House, and it's on to the Senate. But there seem to be roadblocks. Lt. Governor Dan Patrick or Senator Kel Seliger, who's to blame? And where does your State Senator stand?

Agreed if LT Governor is blocking it, he is NOT a republican. He needs to be removed from office.

The Lt. Gov waffling and lack of his commitment to not support those of us who voted him into office will be his demise come his next election, that is a guarantee from us real Texas voters!

Texas constitutional carry is a good thing if they're going to say voter ID is keeping people's voices from being heard then having to have a license to carry a gun is keeping people from protecting themselves.
Lt Governor Patrick but this up for a vote. What are you worried about. Are you concerned it would pass?
He sent it to a committee, it’s not up for a vote yet. That’s a good thing that he sent it to committee. He had not done that at the time this video was posted, and by the way he was talking it didn’t sound like he necessarily would. The committee is headed by guys that are for it. We’ll see if Patrick continues to let this move forward.
Lt is stalling until the session is over. He does not believe that citizens have rights. Traitor.

As an Arizonian I am surprised at all the hand wringing going on over constitutional carry in Texas, we have had it for over 10 years no serious problems.
The vote will be public record, so they can run but not hide for long.
HB 1927 is in committee now. Hammer the members to support real constitutional carry. All adults should be able to carry all arms.
Joan Huffman’s office threatened to report me for harassment for continuing to ask her to support it and what her position was on the bill.
