3 balloons should be very colorful sculpture! I used to go often on theme parties. I would make something appropriate on the theme to the host - a large (3 or more balloons) unicorn for her and then everyone else will get simpler one balloon unicorn (or whatever else they want). Any one asking for the large sculpture will hear "Oh NO! It's only for the birthday girl! But you can get anything else, ...do you want a prettier one? - you know that pretty and cute comes in smaller size, Right!" Usually it works fine ;)

Do something different (not related to balloons): piano, drawing, football and etc. Come back with fresh mind to that dreadful sculpture and finish it! It does not work always like this, but I do it anyway ;)
