Nice to see the cat fishing paid off! That was a good one. Bass fishing is fun too, but a big Blue pulling on your line can be just as fun. Glad you caught enough to make a video out of it. Thanks for posting!
@@landonmoore76 I went out on Sat AM and caught three keepers (two spots and a largie) on topwater in REALLY skinny water (back of coves) on Norman. I was up in Rocky Creek and saw a fair amount of topwater action for an August morning, for sure.
Hey brother awesome video. I'm a nurse from Michigan. About to start a travel nurse assignment down by Lake Norman. I can't wait to try and catch slme blue catfish. We don't have any of those up north!
I used to catch alot of Blues trolling KO wobbler Spoons in the cold months up by the hot hole. They drill those Salmon spoons. Goes to show how aggressive they can be.
We just recently found an abanded dock in a small cove on lake norman and I have been wanting to fish it im much more of a saltwater fisherman and was wondering if you had any tips or even if the spot was fishable I've done a little research and I've got a decent idea of what lures to use and what not I really just wanted to know more of if there are fish there and a general idea as to where they might be as there is a fallen tree.
Bass are always around docks and abandoned ones seem to have more fish. Fallen trees are good to fish as well. A shakey head with a trick worm works well to just get bites
Dude that’s awesome! I live in Raleigh and I have a BFL super event in about a month on Lake Norman. I’m looking to get some practice in on the Lake and since I don’t have a boat I was wondering if I could pay you to let me tag along for a day. Really like your videos and want to fish with you for sure.👊
Hey thought I saw you in wal-mart it’s Monday I would have said hey but I did not want to bother you and you wife and little one and I was exhausted if it was you and yours it was good to see you if not I’m glad I was exhausted lol

I'm not a catfish guy mostly bass but I hear the catfish are suspended about 30 to 40 ft deep. The blues are biting after the spawn
@@landonmoore76 that's awesome man. I just arrived here today.
Any spots you recommend off the bank??
Try any bridges and the state park is good. It's tough from the bank this time of year
Like the catfish fishing but that big bass tournament is coming up. You ready? Good luck out on the lake next time out....
I'm not ready bass fishing is tough right now. It should get better before the big bass
Lake Norman on fire!!! 🔥
For catfish it is
