This is basically a Insta360 advertisement. I have the R and RS, all the modules, both mic adapters, new coldshoe mount, and several Insta360 selfie sticks. I’m all in on the Insta360 ecosystem. That being said, I felt like you neglected to mention advantages of the GoPro. GoPros have larger and more usable touchscreens. GoPros always have a front facing and rear facing screens. GoPros have on board gps and properly includes location metadata into their videos. I hate that using the Insta360 GPS remote doesn’t allow for this. GoPros have good external audio. Insta360’s external audio is limited to mics they’ve tested, is super quiet, and includes unusable background noise when you raise the gain. The boosted battery is excellent, but an additional $50, and makes your camera more fragile, and you lose any water resistance. GoPros are more durable. GoPros have better support. You can actually buy GoPro accessories. You can’t buy the One R mic adapter, boosted battery, coldshoe mount, SD card door, or 1-Inch Mod lens cover right now. GoPro acts more like a traditional camera. You shouldn’t get an Insta360 camera unless you are willing to work with the app. The app is very feature rich, a little buggy, filled with ads, and autoplays videos every time you open it. I’m sticking with my RS, but I think someone considering one over the GoPro should know these things.
Also went back to the store I bought my RS, they said the RS accessories are not yet available for sale. I wanted to buy the battery and charging hub along with the lens sticky guard. No one knows when it will be publicly available. #SMH

anything close to the insta one rs is almost always out of focus. I would say anything within about 3 mtrs . That is a major flaw for an action camera . It would not be too impactful if you are a travel vlogger etc .

I would buy Insta360 One RS. I will buy GoPro Hero9 and with Max Lens Mode. It's much much better than Insta360 One RS.

@@xtplow4783 What I’ve done is get accessories from Insta360 on aliexpress. Shipping takes 3-6 weeks, but there is a lot more stock.

and it’s awkward to carry a big camera going to basketball court and the one inch should be no noise indoor at court

And GoPro Hero9 doens't have 5.3K - as you told. It has only 5K. GoPro Hero10 has 5.3K.
