- "THIS IS ART, THIS IS NOT"
This solo jazz guitar piece explores the boundary between simplicity and artistic expression. The core of the song is a modest chord progression, with a melody that is both embellished and improvised. Using multiple pedals, effects, and real-time looping, I push the tradition of solo jazz guitar to new depths. What defines art? Is it the raw melody, or the spontaneous improvisation surrounding it? Let this performance be a reflection on the limitless possibilities of creative expression.

Everythiiiiiiing... in its riiight plaaaace. kind of. nice playing!
haha thank you sir! i like the "Kind of" part !
@@Priteshwalia-official I meant that the chords moving up and down 1 fret reminded me of the Radiohead tune (kind of). Not "kind of... nice playing". The kind of was the end of a sentence but I hope that was or is now clear. Nice playing is a stand-alone sentence. :)
@@TruthSurge oh gotcha haha my bad 🤦♂️ it does sound like that Radiohead tune
@@Priteshwalia-official Only when you play the F to E it kind of reminds me of that. That is an unusual tune because not many songs are written in Phrygian mode. You seem to touch on Phrygian in yours a little.
For me this tune definitely represents music/musicians of our generation/era, with all its beauty, struggles, joy and melancholy
That's what it felt listening to it ❤
Brilliant playing and tone, glad you popped up on my feed 👍
Thank you man ! I appreciate it
Crazy improv! Love the composition, hopefully a drummer and bassist and duet it and make it a full track!
Love your playing, a true inspiration ❤

That's some really great, flavourful playing.. Congratulations! I personally am not a big fan of this loop business, one side of the board gets a little monotonous sonically. I specially dig the innate understanding and the conversation aspect of your music. How you tracked and mixed this also interests me.. Thanks for sharing the vid! All the best!
thanks man! I understand I have many versions of solo guitar material that I will be putting out that have no loops however I do like the ability to stretch out more, I mean I wanted a tune where I loop and and use some effects and this is that song, Im glad you liked some aspects of it I appreciate the kind words!
Really dig this, man. Beautiful, melodic lines and great feel. Also unpredictable in a great way. May I ask who are your influencers?
oh thank you man , Yeah Kurt Rosenwinkle, Brad Mehldau, Jonathan Kriesberg so many man

@@Priteshwalia-official will definitely do! Cheers! :)
amazing performance, beautiful visuals too!!
thank you my man!
liked and subbed
Saturated, scaley and chordy. Definitely vibey, keep it up. Often wondered if the almost exercise like feel to the progression of chords and scales was intentional or emergent. Or maybe that wondering was the point? But enjoyed it regardless. Interesting mixing as well
Yeah thats defintely the point here, "What defines Art?" is it having too much of chords, can you have a tune without a melody or just have the same chords? I think all of this is art, I have my jazz trio record Coming out soon which are full songs and compositions you can also check out my Organ trio called PSA TRIO for more full fledged tunes!
@@Priteshwalia-official Will check it out! And look forward to more of your music. Where are you based? Would love to catch some live performances

@@hugo54758 sometimes I like to hide behind the visual, you know so people don’t really realize how bad I actually play
you have some intense pain
That’s the best compliment an artist can get 😂
