Helion prims debut album was so fucking good. It was one of those album that snuck up on me and i was really impressed by it. Im glad they got signed to AFM records to so they will be there with orden ogan and other awesome bands. I look forward to a new album from these guys soon.

Truly awesome stuff. Finally got my hands on the album today. Not a weak moment on it. Such a shame Heather Michele left the band. Sonic Perspectives said it best: 'Razor-sharp vocal accuracy to the point where it sounded otherworldly.'
The instruments are awesome here without the usual pretentious calf slobber that is all too common place as for now . The vocalist truly playes to her strengths . Over all a good sold band that I would look forward to hearing for years .

Skylark Syndrome: Choosing a singer because she's pretty, not because she's a great singer. Weak.
Why does no one like the singer? isn't that the best part of this band aside from its repetitive instrumental? I mean, its not like you see too many bands that even have a female lead in metal that aren't hardcore death screamo or some popish new age rock, i can think of maybe 2.
Then you're not looking very hard, if you can only think of 2 bands with female vocalists outside of the parameters you've set. I mean, the entire genre of symphonic metal is mostly female vocalists...
