What is the Sumela Monastery?

Sumela Monastery - a Greek Orthodox Monastery nestled in a steep cliff in the Pontic Mountains of Trabzon Province. The monastery was a dream vision of two priests. They accidentally crossed paths and started to build a church. Later the area expanded into a monastery complex. Check out the video for in-depth dive.
