Norway always loses the first set in big games and somehow comes back over and over again. Their consistency is what makes them the best in the world even though there are some players out there that might have better skill than them.

The video didn't show the crucial miss of Schweiner that would've made the score 20-18 in the second set... Perusic was great but missed too many serves...
I hate when they edit videos like this, they heavily edit it to favour one team over the other, in this case it was the CZE, showing almost all their side outs and points off serve. Mind you they usually do it it favour of NOR.

Essa dupla da Noruega além de ser muito bons tecnicamente, eles são muito fortes mentalmente, podem estar perdendo o jogo ,as vezes por diferença grande pontos,mas ficam frios e concentrados...isso conta muito. Muito bom ver eles jogarem.
why are suddenly strange counries like norway and czech republic doing so well in beach volleyball?
It s not so strange if you know that in Norway there s a school focusing on beach volleyball, owned by the father of Anders Mol.

Thats legal. A block doesn't count as a hit. The little pop he does after the block is the first "hit".

This looks really not FIVB rules... The blue team (set) hold the ball so much.. it looks like a poor country who plays this game and hold the ball and gives it perfectly in 90 degrees to the partner (kidding). The black team are setting perfectly right on the FIVB rules.
Clearly you are certificated referee and not those guys sitting on an empire, who clearly had worse view for those handsets than you from your chair at your house.
Both hand sets are perfectly fine in one upright motion. Your interpretation of rules are biased (if you even read them or play at some tournament, which both is highly unlikely, you would have known)
@@martinbarta2811 the FIVB rules would never allow the blue team play like this.
I agree, it is a problem and a much debated one in beach volleyball. Some referees are trying to tighten the rules, but it's not enforced comprehensively.
@@adulthumanfemale8666 they should prohibite it definitely. So everyone is on the same level. No discussion anymore.
“The Blue team” also know as the Czech Republic team who also happened the host the tournament 🇨🇿🤦♀️hence the CZE lettering on their uniforms.
All hand sets by both teams perfectly legal. No lifting or holding too long.
Congrats to to Norway 🇳🇴 and Czech Republic 🇨🇿 teams for making it all the way to the finals.

It's the first time I felt bad that Anders and Christian won. I kept thinking, why can't you just let the Czech boys win on their home court.

I know. A bit of a heartbreak for the Czech team but at the same time thought they had their opportunities and just didn’t take them.

I doubt the Perusic and Schweiner would have been happy with Mol and Sørum letting them win anyway. It's a competition, at the hightest level in the world. There's no letting anyone win, and that's why if/when the DO win, it's because they deserved it! And they would have deserved it today if not for a few critical mistakes
