      @@Sorin_DIY yeah but those that do, are loyal and will be there to support what they love. My guess is now that technology is a lot harder to diy/repair, not a lot of people have interest because they lack the skills like soldering SMD components. I find it challenging but possible with the right tools! Hope your channel grows bigger and better than the rest

    Great build, and well explained. Fabricating your own boxes is great, perhaps as an idea for next time how about repurposing an existing (possibly scrap) decorative housing e.g folk are throwing out vintage radiograms with Bakelite knobs .. would be awesome to reuse something like that and hide new-age tech inside. Keep up the great work, and hope you get some sun to keep the speaker charged :-)

    Another small tip: a lot of these boards use JST-PH or compatible connectors. Invest in an Engineer PA-21 crimping tool (€50) and a box set of PH headers/housings/crimps, and you can easily make proper connectors instead of soldering. Makes it a lot more professional, and you don't have to solder inside the housing, and you can replace any broken component easily.

    What is the role of the passive side radiators exactly?

    • @Sorin_DIY
      @Sorin_DIY  4 роки тому +2

      hi. I like these flat lithium cells, because they can be better positioned on the speaker box panel, they take less space, because they are rectangular and thin. they also provide a flat surface for the acoustic insulation to be glued.
      passive radiators are used in sealed enclosures. the internal pressure varies, when the active speaker drivers vibrate, so the passive radiators act like dampers for the pressure and help the speaker drivers not to vibrate too much and get damaged. they also vibrate from the pressure fluctuation and create low frequency sounds, which increases the bass.

    Faina boxa, suna bine. Asa ca un mic sfat pentru gaurire foloseste un burghiu cu zencuitor pe ele, si asa faci 2 in 1, si gaurire si zencuire ca sa nu tot schimbi sculele. Eu unul asta folosesc cand lucrez cu lemn. Pentru partea de izolare la interior pentru boxe se foloseste vatelina, bureletele nu este recomandat la incinte acustice. In rest keep up the good work that you do.

    • @Sorin_DIY
      @Sorin_DIY  4 роки тому

      salut. pentru o urgenta se poate desprinde cu un cutter... mai greu, o sa lase si urme, dar pana la urma se desface. am vrut sa lipesc cu aracet, deoarece lipeste cel mai bine MDF / PFL-ul. oricum nu cred ca se va defecta vreun modul prea curand. cel mai probabil bateria isi va pierde din capacitate in timp. dar tocmai de aceea am folosit 2 celule de capacitate mare, sa reziste cat mai mult.

      hi. the solar charger module has the MPPT (Maximum power point tracking) technology, which uses the maximum available current from the solar panel, without letting the input voltage drop lower than 4.4V. the TP4056 charging module is trying to charge the cell with the preset current, which in this case is 1A. if the solar panel can't deliver 1A and you connect it to the TP4056 module input, the voltage will drop too much and the TP4056 module will shut down. so each module it's charging the lithium cell with the best efficiency for the charging method for which it is intended.

    • @Sorin_DIY
      @Sorin_DIY  Рік тому

      Because the charging modules have different functions. to charge the battery from a solar panel, it needs a MPPT charging module. The one I use can charge the battery with maximum 500mA, but it doesn't have battery protection.
      The TP4056 module can charge the battery with max 1A and also has battery protection.

    • @Sorin_DIY
      @Sorin_DIY  Рік тому

      Hi. It's not good to connect the solar panel directly to the BMS. the voltage and current need to be regulated by a MPPT controller, or at least a CC/CV converter, which will have a lower efficiency. if you connect it directly, it may damage the BMs or battery pack.

    • @Sorin_DIY
      @Sorin_DIY  3 роки тому

      salut. este recomandat sa folosesti difuzoare de putere mai mare decat ce ofera amplificatorul. de obicei producatorii de difuzoare exagereaza cand dau specificatiile difuzoarelor. daca folosesti difuzoare de 3W la un amplificator de 3W, sigur vor fi suprasolicitate difuzoarele, nu se vor auzi clar si e posibil sa se arda la volum maxim. de obicei producatorii de difuzoare prezinta puterea maxima, nu rms, deci puterea reala e mai mica. asa ca pentru un amplificator de 3W e recomandat sa folosesti difuzoare de 5W-10W, insa mai importanta e calitatea difuzoarelor decat puterea.

      hi. without checking a few things you can't find the problem. what is the real capacity of your battery pack, what type of BMS did you use? what is the current consumption of your routers, both routers need a supply voltage of 12V? what is the max output power of the UPS measured with some dummy load resistors? the UPS still delivers 12V when you try to turn on the UPS, or does the voltage drop? you can't guess where the problem is, you need to work and test everything until you find the problem.

      Often one of the two terminals is marked with a bit of red stuff. If not, you can determine the correct polarity with a battery and a couple of bits of wire. Just connect the battery momentarily to the terminals and note which way the cone moves -- in or out. Then check the other one, they should be wired so that they move in the same direction for the same polarity.

      I often found a + or - lightly embossed on or near one or both of the terminals - sometimes only visible under magnification and with the light from the side, showing the faintest of shadows.

    am cumparat 3 module pam8403 (cele rosii) dar cand leam incercat nu aveau bass deloc si nu aveau volum ridicat. care ar putea fi problema?

      salut. desi am cumparat module si rosii si verzi, le-am folosit decat pe cele verzi si au fost ok. posibil ca cele rosii sa nu fie la fel de bune.

      @@Sorin_DIY da aparent cele rosii nu sunt bune de nimic. am luat cateva verzi si funcționează perfect. mulțumesc de ajutor

    de ce postezi atat de rar? lipsa de timp? sau ajung greu comenzile pentru produse

      salut. in ultima perioada ajung cu intarziere sau deloc comenzile. iar in general imi ramane timp limitat pentru youtube, dupa job si timpul petrecut cu familia. dar sper ca pe viitor canalul de UA-cam sa aiba mai mult succes si sa devina singurul meu job.
