Hello, thanks for the tutorial. Do you think it's possible to add a rechargeable battery to it ? If so what is the voltage needed for this light fixture ?
I have never tried that, I would probably need to know where the voltage converts from AC to DJ and then measure it... That's a little more complicated than I can do
Yes, I do this all the time... I actually hook up my led uplight inside my truss so it can receive DMX, and send it up to the top of my truss to the moving head
I don't have an ADJ Tripar, or else I would check for you, but there are some IC chips on the broads... some will have $5v going through one of the pin... Either that or look for a 7805 transistor and that one for sure will have 5v
i want to make wireless DMX balls where thes 8 double a battiers suppling power to a DMX to led strip decoder, how would i power one of these boards with this.
Is the also a Video Converting moving Heads? What is, if i want to go one time with dmx cable but installed the wifi module at Same time (e.g. In case my transmitter Crashs) Great Job& Video.
Hi FPV Zone, that depends on the light. Most lights do not run wireless dmx on master/slave. Master/Slave is not a DMX signal, but a proprietary signal. I have one company that does run Master/Slave DMX and they can control other wireless lights. But the majority do not run a dmx signal on master slave.
I purchased directly from china, but I can show you something similar on amazon... www.amazon.com/Wireless-Transmitter-Receiver-Modules-Controller/dp/B093FXH6W6/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=wireless+dmx+board&qid=1622851322&sr=8-2
For the program on this video, that one is called Q+ Light show (something along the lines) I loved it but it's not 100% working with my moving heads. The other program I use now is freestyler. Most Wireless DMX receivers are transmitters as well, They are smart... if they detect a dmx signal present on the pins... they automatically transmit... if they detect a dmx signal that is already being transmitted wireless, they become receivers..
Hi! nice video I have a query, the transmitter is a console with the wireless dmx integrated? or did you adapt an antenna of these? could you explain how you transmit? Thank you

If there is a transmitting light can it be wired with DMX Out to other Lights at the same time while it sends the signal?
Good tutorial👍

Hi, what kind of led controller is that one on this video? looks like a sony psp
It's Called the Numark Orbit Controller... wireless midi device, it was really cool... www.numark.com/product/orbit
I have a ADJ tripar profile. how did you find 5 volts what were you looking for?

on the 8 feet chip you will get the 5v i have the picture i can send you for the 5v

You can use a rechargeable battery such as the Lithium Ion 18650s or 3 AA Batteries in Series to get you to 4.5v
im thinking of doing this project.. what type of moving head did u convert to wireless?
chinese 90 watt generics
Is the also a Video Converting moving Heads?

Yes
Can they run with Master Slave Mode?

Can you post a link for the light on where you purchase it from?
I would not suggest you buy these lights.. They are from ebay.. 4in1 RGBW led Lights..
do you have a link to the dmx board please?

also what type transmitter will pick up these receivers and type lighting program do you use for computer

the dmxcart cna transmit and receive itself
Yes
The DMX pcb has a place for wire connections
How do you mean?
DJ Francisco Perez the pcb board that is attached to the DMX connectors has 3 solder pads with holes for the wire to pass through for soldering.
You mean the ones pictured at 6:05 right?
DJ Francisco Perez
Yes sir
Yes, you are right, I still prefer to solder to an existing contact.
You need better lighting.
Video Is 6 Years old, I needed better Lighting, better camera, and better video editor... :)
