Somewhat useful in other way. It enables disables start stop system. Prevent engine from high rpm running and keep bike at somehow safe speed at full throttle.
Couldn't imagine a 125cc to look sooo good 7-8 years back when I was in college. We only had the OG Pulsar 125 and Shine as options❤
This is actually really good. TVS was brave enough to venture and we appreciate that move
Lol, 20 years ago, it was Discover 125 and Pulsar 150
Stunner , ybx , Gladiator were there.
All 3 were great performers.
But way earlier between 2000-12.
Before 2000s there were even crazier 2strokes - Kb125, Shogun 110.

In my preference, a bike without ABS is a bit challenging to ride. Hence my decision to go with the Raider. A rider isn't a rider if he doesn't know how to brake well. Non-ABS bike teaches the rider how to brake and how to attack corners. Yes, the ABS becomes God's gift in case of sudden braking (in the case of a pedestrian or animal).
Bingo! That's one of the reasons why most of us will recommend the Xtreme
125 rarely requires abs
There is also Non-ABS model available in Xtreme 125r
One difference between the two
Raider looks like Bumblebee from Transformers
Xtreme looks like Mesogog from Power Rangers Dino Thunder

What TVS made is a genuine attempt to give a new 125 CC and opened a premium segment in this category. Kudos to their thought process and their effort !!! But with Xtreme or Pulsar NS, they are good but it is like a smaller version of their original counterparts. More like a true copy while Raider has the edge to be unique !! And given that Xtreme came to the market knowing the weakness in the segment creator Raider, it offers ABS and stands out with that. But, I believe, there will be an update in the near future from TVS with maybe a Rear Disc which should do the most for 125 CC.
PS: I am not a fanboy of TVS or anyone but felt TVS has pioneered to create this segment and giving them their due credit should be our job.
Hey powerdrift can do u similar kind of compr for 150 cc commuters , Sp160, FZS FI Ver 4, suzuki gixxer and bajaj pulsar 150 cc if possible add tvs apache .

Raider 125 for 1 year 35k kms and i can tell that its a gem of an engine ❤️60 to 70 cruise can be easy om full synthetic engine oil and chain lubes and clean at regular intervals... While i stay near hills the pull impreseed me on the roads of Darjeeling with a pillion .....

They implemented auto start stop in eco mode .power mode doesn't trigger it . Except that there is no change but rpm is limited at higher speeds in eco

In TVS Raider air and oil cooling system is there but the other 125cc and some 150cc bikes are having only air cooling system. It improves the life of the engine and also helps in doing long rides. In case if ABS is not there just apply front break more and rear break only 40 to 50% there won't be any skidding. Raider is comfortable for youth as well as families in longer run. A single seat option should have been provided in Hero Xtreme 125R. In the bluetooth model on TVS Raider there is a ABS indicator they will bring ABS later on
But I will still go for Xtreme over raider
The single seat option is a valid thing especially for this segment

@@james_isaac My friend used a CB shine and did some long rides and his engine came to bore. Few days back during the extreme summer a CB shine caught fire due to lack of cooling efficiency. If oil cooling system was there it would have been cool to some extent. If you type in youtube Royal enfield caught fire you will get a lot of videos
@@james_isaac I'm talking about 125 and below cc vehicles especially on long rides. My friend used a CB Shine and he did some long rides. Due to lack of cooling his engine came to bore. Bullet and Himalayan are bigger capacity engines. Thats why we can do long rides well. But in case of 125 and below cc vehicles cooling system is important in long rides

Tbh, no one uses those connected features on daily basis. Everyone uses it for Max to max 6 7 months. But kudos to tvs to provide it. But I just said what I think.

@@powerdriftofficial You can manage hero service. They are knowledgable and they never fool you. 5yrs exp from 2 cities. Fellow TVs riders suggest otherwise. Plus TVS has sooo many premature issues in their production bikes. Observation based on fellow TVs riders.
