Thanks for sharing! Y’all be safe!
thanks for sharing! i am so glad i saw this video. i have the same machine and only have been using it for a 2 weeks. its always been a fight to get those things on. i will have to use your technique tomorrow at milking time. thanks again!
Glad to help, hope it helps make it easier for you!
Thank you so much! We have been having such a hard time, had to be 2 people always to get it started, 😂
It can definitely be frustrating! Hope it helps. 😃
hopefully some butter and cheese videos ;) enjoyed the video my grandma used to hand milk churn her own butter. My mom took a blender down to show her how quick she could make butter and she actually got offended lol
Hahaha that’s awesome. Yes we look forward to making butter and cheese real soon.
Thanks, if you have time would you make a video on how you clean your milking machine.
Thanks for watching, I certainly will!
Will you make a video on how you clean this machine?
Definitely, thanks for your interest!
awesome job :) is the calf a bull ? countryview acres is wanting to get a bull calf for their jerseys
It’s a little heifer, so she will be our second milk cow someday.
Do you know how the water sensor operates?
I sure don’t. If I had to guess the only time you would have a problem with the water sensor is if there was water left in the vacuum lines from cleaning. That would probably require the plug being removed from the bottom of the machine to let the moisture out.
So you don’t boil it? I believe it called homogenized . Interesting video.
Nope we drink it as is, chilled of course. 😜 That is correct, when you boil it that is called homogenizing. The problem with that is it destroys a lot of the good bacteria, anti microbials and enzymes you get from raw milk. Our two-year-old is allergic to store-bought milk, but can drink raw milk just fine. It’s much healthier.
@MaynardFamilyHomestead
Actually when milk is heated to eliminate bacteria it is called Pasteurization, Homogenization is a different process in which the milk is forced through tiny nozzles to break up the fat into tiny particles so it's all the same consistency. Both are mandatory for milk sold to the public, but not for private use. And Both have been found to make milk less than desirable in it's effects. As you mentioned the good microbes are neutralized, and even the Homogenization processes wildly changes how the human body can metabolize the milk, causing the opposite effects from what the government claimed to be hoping for. So in nearly all cases, the government IS the problem that people call upon the government to solve.
@rodgerneeb301 thank you for clarifying, that’s the word I was looking for, pasteurization! I can’t fit very many big words like that in my brain at once 😂.
