Connecting a Bluetooth Speaker to a TV (how to pair)

- This video explains how to pair / connect a wireless Bluetooth speaker to a smartTV. In order to do this the TV has to have Bluetooth build in.
This process only needs to be done once. After that the speaker will automatically reconnect every time both devices are turned on.
It would have been nice if you would have played something on the TV so we could hear what the speaker sounds like when you play something from the TV

I connected my JBL boombox 2 to my new 75" LG and im impressed. I think im gonna get another boombox 2 and link them together. Just one is pretty nice with deep bass explosions and whatnot can't imagine 2 of them or more😳😳

If you have partyboost speakers they will NOT work when JBL is paired to tv. Partyboost and tv don’t play nice. That’s a JBL issue. I spoke to a tech and they brushed me off saying maybe they’ll update the firmware. They want to sell the sound bar and they don’t tell you this. That the consumer division for you. The pro audio division wouldn’t do that.
@@curtisunit i just ordered an aisidra bluetooth tv adapter so i'm going to see in a few days if i can pair my two Jbl's with my tv and split the tv audio into my Logitech speakers and subwoofer...essentially a surround sound....but...we'll see. Lol

Not what I wanted to know , I want to have sound from my TV speakers and my bluetooth speaker at the same time .Everyone talkes about paring , that is great but before I buy my bluetooth speaker I need to know if the sound comes out of my TV speakers and my bluetooth speakers at the same time .Or tell me and others how to get sound from TV and Bluetooth speaker at the same time .
They have an HDMI audio extractor you can buy. Connect a Bluetooth transmitter to that before it goes into your tv and you are good to go.

I prefer wired 3.5mm AUX for tv and home listening. When going out then I use BT.
Ive had issues with BT connectiing and not working, but with AUX its direct. For this reason I buy devices with AUX + BT, but a lot of brands now phase out AUX.

Usually the TV speakers are turned off when connecting a Bluetooth device
That is WHAT I’m trying to do. Don’t want to spend hundreds on a complicated sound bar need a wireless speaker AND the tv to work TOGETHER.

Even if you could, it’s doubtful it will sync. The Bluetooth will always have a small amount of lag.

Usually it should stillbe possible to adjust the volume with the remote control.
Some TVs may not support this though.

What brand is your tv? or are you setting that up with Amazon firestick?
It’s a Toshiba TV, which has the Amazon software running on it.

At this point TVs do not support multiple Bluetooth speakers at the same time.
There are speakers that can be connected to each other. E g. with JBL PartyBoost. It would work that way.
From what I’ve observed, most TVs turn off their speakers while a Bluetooth speaker is connected.

Sharp tv fact: single speaker will pair with a sharp aquos. In order to have stereo you would have to have the JBL portable app on the tv. That doesn’t exist on the store. It does exist but prob Harmon Kardon made a deal with sharp not to make it available on their units.
So does the speaker plays with the TV sound of the sound only comes off of the speaker. I want the sound to come out from the speaker and the TV.. Can you explain?
With my TV the sound comes only out of the Bluetooth speaker. The TV itself is silent.

If you use an aux cable from the TV to the Bluetooth speaker is also the same thing. Only sound from the speaker. But TV speakers suck anyway.
is there any delay/lag of sound after sometime using bluetooth speaker with TV? Like video playing doesn't sync with audio playing because the sound is lagging?
There is a significant amount of lag when it comes to audio over Bluetooth.
Some devices can compensate by also delaying the image. But I don’t believe many do that.
Might as well of done a video of yourself plugging a aux lead in it then going there we go it’s done ✅
Hi I'm reading you can't connect xbox one to wireless Bluetooth speaker. But I'm thinking if your TV has Bluetooth can't you just connect to blutooth speaker and when you play xbox the sound will just come threw. Peeps say xbox doesn't have Bluetooth OK but why would it matter if your TV does. My TV doesn't buy I'd buy something to connect to it so it does. The reason I need to know is bad neighbours I want to play xbox in living room but have a speaker in bedroom for when they blare musuc I give it some back
If the Bluetooth doesn’t work, you can connect an aux cable from the tv to the speaker and you can hear your Xbox sound.
@@Robher85 yeah true I CD drill hole in wall gave speaker in bedroom and play xbox in living room with headphones. I knoe crazy and I haven't been fighting bsvj recently as people below but the loon above 247 fiddling fixing bangs thumps pauses it's not normal and the mug next door I don't want to hear yout surround sound even low. If u hear on out floor there is a problem
