I had just joined the Air Force and wore this album out while I was living in the dorms. The SOS band is highly underrated and constantly overlooked. Jams on Jams on Jams!💯🔥🔥🔥
This shows the difference between actual bands and machine's you can try and imitate but will never duplicate the sound of a full band jamming out great song ☺️
I first heard this on Top Of The Pops in the UK (1983?) when I was 10 and the synth bassline made me want to play synth bass :)
Yes ma'am... SOS is still one of my favorite bands. Check out "Weekend Girl", "Just the way you like it" and "The finest" three of their many classics..

I might still have the 45 of this that I bought in 1983, when I was 16. Now though I own a "Best of" CD of theirs.
A little background on Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam. Originally they were working for 'Prince', While they began producing for 'SOS Band' at the same time. When 'Prince' found out, he fired them. Of course they also produced for Janet Jackson later on...

Its fun watching the band members playing it. The ones playing the synths and bass guitar...they were really into it and you can feel that. I've always said there's music you can 'hear' and then there's music you can hear AND 'FEEL'. This one's the latter :)

They try to get a replacement singer no one come closed to her voice. Not a soul.
You don't have to stop the song this many times to avoid copyright. One time, talk for a bit, and let it play through. There are so many UA-camrs that I watch who do so. I wanted to sub, but there's just too much pausing. Takes the experience away.
