See more at everythingmoun... Are you ready to take on summits all over the world to start your climbing career? Presented here are some of the best mountains for beginners.
This is super helpful. I know mountaineering can get very technical and finding a good "starter" mountain is a great way to get into it without getting in over your head
Mustagh Ata is 7546 meters high (24 757 feet). The thing that makes it rather "easy" is that it is basically one long not very step slope. Sven Hedin when he first saw it tried to climb it in 1894 already. What stopped people from reaching the top before 1956 was the cold, altitude and the deep snow. Snow shoes is needed more than crampons on that mountain.
Mountains like K2 and Everest are for professional climbers not for tourists before doing that i think people should try to summit smaller mountains and get an experience going on to summit Everest and K2 spacially K2 without experience is suicide or if you want to murder someone without bearing any consequences take them to K2
Well maybe not for someone who has never climbed before :) But they are good ones for people who are want to "begin" with serious mountain climbing. One of our team member's spouses would great - she started on some of them.
When I grow up, these are gonna be the first mountains in My mountaineering career
