Coz of less profit margins Indian Companies are still very tiny in capital when compared to US or EU companies ..A Company is run by profit not by only social work ..Selling a life saving drug at 0-5% profit margin is absolute foolishness where US giants are charging 1000% profit margins ....means they are selling at 11times the price of the medicine

A cancer drug of 12000 INR in global market shouldn't be at cheap as 120 INR ...Coz it reduces both the profit margin of the company & Indian economy along with the credibility of the medicine ...
A $ 10K vaccine in the global market should be 7-8 times cheaper roughly around $ 1.5K ..it's called economy & serving the poor nations ..You can't run an NGO with 0-5% profit margin for life saving high demand drugs ..Both Indian Pharma Companies & Indian Govt should think about it
Manufacturing a life saving drug at Rs 80-90 is a great achievement & one need to acknowledge the amount of hard work behind that achievement by the biologists & bio physicists ..
If a EU or American Pharma Company is charging
USD 5000 for a life saving drug in poorer African nations then try to produce it at Rs 3000 -4000 & try to sell it at USD 500 -700 that's a good price for a life saving drug & by doing so company will also earn handsome profit margins ..Today , Indian companies are selling at Rs 5000-6000
Companies shouldn't oversee the contribution & hardwork of its talented bio scientists ...Give them some respect for achieving the great feat
