- These clients found me on Google while proactively searching for a mechanic during their multi-state trip up to Canada. They complained about steering wheel vibrations during their hilly descents while applying the brakes. I explained the possible warped rotor scenario and you’ll see for yourself those were the original pads and rotors so it was definitely time to swap out the parts.
Upon finishing the install, the brake light came on in the dash, and a few other lights. Due to the caliper piston compression, the brake system thought there was fluid leak and thus threw codes. Also, it maintained a mushy brake pedal until I plugged in my scanner and erased the codes. Technology makes simple jobs like this so much harder to get done quickly and efficiently.
