A Closer Look: Every Home Elizabeth Taylor Lived In
Elizabeth Taylor, the iconic British-American actress, was known for her luxurious lifestyle and a series of notable homes that reflected her Hollywood status. Among her residences, her Bel Air mansion in Los Angeles stood out with its sprawling estate and opulent interiors, while her Burton-Taylor house in Montreal symbolized her passionate relationship with Richard Burton, marked by both glamour and tumult. Taylor also enjoyed a mid-century modern retreat in Palm Springs and later lived in a modest home in Los Angeles, focusing on philanthropy and family in her later years. Her love life was famously tumultuous, beginning with a brief marriage to Conrad Hilton at just 18, followed by marriages to actor Michael Wilding and producer Mike Todd, the latter tragically ending due to his untimely death. However, her most notorious relationship was with Welsh actor Richard Burton, with whom she married twice, navigating an intense and public romance. Taylor's subsequent marriage to senator John Warner also ended in divorce, reflecting the complexities of her personal life that captivated the public for decades.

My dad took us to see a reprise screening of National Velvet in the mid-1970s when I was little. He rarely went to the movies with us (usually dropped us off) but he really wanted us to see that movie, and he wanted to see it, with Elizabeth Taylor as a girl because he was about her age and he saw it when it first came out. I remember he wore a sportcoat to the theater and we got dressed up. (I think it was a double feature with International Velvet.) I remember watching it with Elizabeth Taylor riding her horse on the big screen on a green hillside and I could see her star quality. The whole experience was such a treat. Years later when I was in my 30s I lived in LA and happened to see her coming out of a doctor's office with Larry Fortensky and her bodyguard/driver. She was so beautiful and really did have violet eyes.
Elizabeth had a beautiful, wonderful, and tremendous life and family. She has been a truly great inspirational woman. This was a fun and entertaining video, Thank you so very much for this wonderful history.
Love learning about Elizabeth. What an ICON ❤❤❤
So good to see you back.
The Puerto Vallarta home was my favourite! Thank you for sharing this video!
What a beautiful video, thank you! I always loved her home with Larry.
Love to hear your soothing voice
My favorite Elizabeth Taylor film is National Velvet. I love everything about that movie. Puerto Vallarta wins for favorite residence and in photos she looks so happy and at peace when there. R.I.P. Dame Elizabeth Taylor 💜
I love this video!! Wow
BEAUTY BEGETS BEAUTY... WELL LIVED!
Interesting video and nice and cultured voice. As always.
This is weird.. my great grandmother. Was named Liza Taylor...and her Father was named Francis Taylor.
thank you
Elizabeth had a wonderful life . Her family was really important to her . Her homes luxurious but also cosy.. I really like the last one .
My #1 favorite movie, ofcourse, is “CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF” As far as I can tell, considering the minimum amount of details I have managed to take in while briefly & quickly glancing her many residents, I do believe her very last home is my favorite. I’m also impressed and taken by the home she lived in as a child. By the way my other favorite movie of her’s, though a real tear jerker was “A PLACE IN THE SUN”, where for my money she was at her most beautiful, incredibly beautiful !!!❣️🏆💖💞🇺🇸
Elizabeth Taylor was an extremely beautiful sophisticated person and loved by all over the world
Cool vid, minus the therapy help ad.
Especially since they're the Temu of online therapy.
Thank you for the video! The Taming of the Shrew.
Elizabeth moved from city to city, country to country. Stating the street adress without stating city or country is kinda pointless
