From the looks of it, it’s Scrivener. It’s amazing I love it personally. It has literally everything that an author or writer needs. It does cost but it’s a one time payment of I believe $50-$60. The only downside really is it is a learning curve because it has so much to offer. There are other great options that are free like google docs, Microsoft word, and a few other places. Abbie Emmons (on UA-cam) has a few videos on how to navigate Google Docs for writing and Scrivener. Once you go Scrivener you never go back to anything. I also love seeing us being in creative fields too.

I'm always so amazed by authors who can draft and know absolutely everything about the plot because I try everytime but I just can't... which results in a lot of blank page syndromes haha Really a nice vlog, I just subscribed! 📒

Your bookshelf is the opposite of mine. There is so little space because even after 3-4 years of going cold turkey against buying books ... with the exception of Lindsay Ellis's Noumena ... the amount I already bought just casts a sum over the shelves. Long drives are a double-edged sword. If you and your sister had gotten everything at an efficient pace, chances are high the adrenaline valve would've rumbled with an "is that it?? bleh" tone of voice. (This analogy worked better in my head than when I typed it down.) Exposition as placeholders? Not sure I've ever heard it done that way, but if you've delegated tasks in general between the multiple drafts, that's probably the most efficient way. Making goals stimulates a lot of dopamine. But as you pushed into August, I think a good example you set for other writers was trimming down on goals once in a while. You know who you are. You know what you need. You can tell where a short-term stretch is going. Why not own it? And then "being in the mood" no longer holds you hostages because your mood isn't as affected by the constant weighing of priorities, and suddenly you remember you're a writer ... your priorities are clear. Congratulations on a 42,734 word draft, and on the way going back to support your ending made so much of the book as a whole click for you.
