How To To Program A 2008-2016 Europe-North American VW Tiguan Remote control key Using Autel 608 #1

VW when adding a key is the same as all keys lost. You need a working key to begin but you must include that key when programming, so when asked key 1 is always your working key, then add as many as you like, if adding 2 you select 3 when adding 1 you select 2. The first key needs to be relearned back as key 1 or you lose it and have to do it again. We learn as we go but with VW be careful if you erase all keys by accident then you must read eeprom on the instrument cluster to add keys back.

They key stayed programmed even tho he hit 1. But his mistake is because he hit 1 again when it asked about the remote.

@segounlocks5029 when adding 1 key you need to start with it and when asked how many keys you adding you need to put 2 or it will only do the same key. Done it many times. The Remote function has nothing to do with the key to start the engine.

@@jorgemat8080 Thats what I'm saying this is basically all keys lost. When you add 1 key you put in 2 keys because the original has to be reprogrammed because they all get erased. I'm just saying when you do remote programming in you put in 2 as well.

I purchased Autel 508 and a customer brought me a 2012 Tiguan friends discourage me not to do Euro cars but your videos makes the procedure simple I am going to try it,should I use OEM or aftermarket keys thanks
