My dude, you ever seen that picture of a grandma with a rocket launcher? That's not an anomaly. That's like 90% of grandmothers. Mine got sick of squirrels eating from her bird feeders. So she bought a gun and started picking them off. No she didn't get a cat. She didn't get squirrel proof feeders. She went from zero to murder.

My favorite line about the Stonefish was from a different video you did. "Its like choosing invisibility as a super power and unloading a full clip into someone because they stepped on your foot."
The black-banded sea snake is actually so chill that a bunch of people used to find them at the beach and wear them around their necks for a while. They stopped when they found out a single droplet of their venom could issue 60 cease and desists on life.
"Just like people, you don't need venom to be toxic."
This dude only speaks one language. And it's facts.

I found one of those parasites in a wild red snapper I bought from the local fish market once in Seattle. I kept it and took it to my environmental science class the next day. Classmates all thought I was effing nuts and asked me not to bring anything like that again while our teacher interrupted telling me "no please DO bring them in next time!". XD That class was fun and that parasite freaked me the hell out when I first found it cause it was still alive and moved. 😂😂😂

As a person with add I love this guy. His pacing is perfect for me🤷🏼♀️

As an avid scuba diver, watching your videos is making me more and more paranoid to get into the water again lol
On a serious note though, the ocean is full of so many amazing and beautiful things. I've been fortunate enough to see both cuttlefish and octopi up close and they are truly mesmerizing.
We see those on the seashore, cuttlefish are so innocent i swear, i would sit next to one and they didn’t mind
Fun fact: The stonefish sting is so painful that a victim begged the doctors to amputate his leg so he would stop hurting
I kind of miss the "fun" in this fact.
But the venom is all over the body already at that point.
Yeahhhh there's a type of plant in Australia that can have someone begging for an amputation or death, by just slightly brushing past it, and the pain lasts for months. It's called the Stinging Tree.

Seeming as you have squidward as a prof pic do you think he's a squid or a octopus
Two fun facts:
1. Hagfish do the most advanced Yoga to do what other animals do with jaws. To tear a junk of flesh from a carcass they turn their practically boneless body into a knot and push the knot against the carcass. To them, spineless (they have a chorda dorsalis, just not a fully developed spine) is not an insult, it's an approval of their badass yoga skills.
2. Sea snakes can only survive in areas with rain. The reason for that is that they need to drink from the thin layer of fresh water that forms during heavy rain to survive. Some go for extended periods of time without water, but they still need to drink at some point.

If you see a big snow leopard mostly concealed by the rock and looking to the right, look at the right cheek of that snow leopard and it should be there. Or you could just look it up

I fucking love orcas they are amazing even tho they are so vicious to other animals they have never killed a human in the wild only in captivity where they are treated like shit
They annoy attack certain sharks but not all because know better than to annoy the extremely aggressive ones (not Great White Sharks btw)
Swimming snakes rarely, if ever, bite humans. This goes for land snakes like cottonmouths, too. As long as they're in water, snakes just tend to be a lot less defensive. Maybe it's just because they can retreat much more easily in comparison to our ability to pursue them.
@Connor MacArthur Actually it's because they don't want to waste their venom on people. They like to use it for hunting prey, not defending themselves from danger. Also if a snake were to bite somebody, there's nothing stopping the person from just immediately stomping the snake to death. The person may still die, but their death will take longer.
Unless they are in what I describe as a orgy ball…. A bunch of sea snakes with a bunch of males and (hopefully at least) one female. I saw this off the coast of Okinawa Japan, two broke off and chased my ass first to the nearest rock then to the shore. The only reason I think I beat/escaped them was because 1) I was scared for my life. 2) I had on flippers.

@@magmat0585 woah.
@person person No. It would be seagulls. Crows are kind creatures :>
I did a little reading about the Orcas attacking boats. Apparently one of the biologists said that the surge of attacks happened right after everything opened back up after the pandemic. All of those boats, ferries, whale watchers, etc in that major shipping route were off the water during that time and probably made life for the Orca less stressful. The biologist went on to speculate that these sentient creatures might just be expressing anger at the return of the boats.
Well, it may just be speculation, but if that is the case...I can't blame them. It was probably sooo peaceful and quiet without all the noisy boats.
Probably would be a little grumpy that they all came back.

Fun fact: In the Dutch dub of SpongeBob, Squidward is called Octo. Probably as a pun on Otto, which I only realised while typing this
Meaning if you grab the wrong end, you can go from an is to a was expeditiously.
Love it.
Another fun fact about the isopod: the males also climb in through the gills, mate with the morphed tongue female and essentially make the fish’s inside into school-bus for all of the isopod babies
Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhh! I can't even close my eyes to get away from the image of that because it's in my imagination!
nooo.. now I'm picturing the magic school bus gone wrong 😱
Thank you, exactly what we all needed....
They also change genders when they decide that tongue is a life style, because why the fuck not.
🤢 that’s even worse
Orcas: **Terrorize the entire ocean**
Also Orcas: **Don’t mess with humans**
If that doesn’t say something about us I don’t know what does.
They pretty much have it figured that it’s a baaad idea to get us on revenge mode
They also don't mess with adult male sperm whales, because they know only one them is enough to injure or even kill multiple orcas.
They know we run shit with people that we think are threatening. That or I think they're getting hunted...But that's just a hunch don't quote me on that.
Them terrorizing other ocean dwellers= Nightmare for said ocean dwellers
We terrorizing them = Extinction
And humans are very good at the genocidal game.
Orcas are really fussy eaters. There have reportedly been incidents where an orca attempted to hunt a human, but broke off the hunt immediately upon realizing it wasn’t a sea lion. Humans are not part of their very specific diet, so they have no reason to attack us. They are really smart and tend to eat what their mothers teach them is safe to eat. Sorry I just find killer whales fascinating
This guy is quickly becoming my favorite UA-camr
"It's like if stop signs were made in braille" how can this be so accurate
“All while making the roads look like a humpback whale just discovered whalehub” XD you’re hilarious 😂

Guys just admit it
Australia is the part of the world where the devs accidentally set the difficulty to nightmare lunatic.
It’s not thaaaat bad here
Just gotta remember to shake out your shoes in the morning
@Joey Nitro I'd wager theres also some lunatic in thee considering how hard it is to actually avoid shit. At least ultra nightmare you can still avoid running into one of those shits.
Australia is sending a bullet hell's worth of deadly shit at it's occupants
@@baileyhood6225 man I'd buy a new shoe for every morning. Let those little nasties have it. I aint taking it back
@@g_g... it’s worse if a spider lays its eggs in your shoe, ya get the spider out and kill it but then you still get a squishy little surprise
