I hope you guys never take having so many places to metal detect for WW2 memorabilia for granted. I've always been really into learning about the history of anything WW2 related. Getting a signal on your detector when you are standing in an obvious WW2 foxhole must truly get your heart racing and gives you a high no drug could give you.
I work at a war museum in the US, (we focus on people not weapons or wars) and i love your videos of parts of eveyday life from this war against captured war-prizes taken home.
Amazing finds! I’m always so disappointed when your videos end. I’m always wanting to see more and more artifacts and treasures! Thanks for sharing your finds with us!
Man, your finds are super cool. I really love metal detecting and way that you are filming this... All things are great. I already can't wait for next adventure! Good luck, guys!!
That is a Carcano clip, I recognized it instantly. My father used to have one, many years ago. Well, identified. Love your videos. You clearly have a passion for it.
Hi guys the New Zealand air force, had pilots serving in Britain during the battle of Britain. I'm sure there would still have been pilots serving later on. Australian pilots also served. The initials for NZ were RNZAF and for Australia is RAAF. The fist R is for Royal. Nice video as always. F
@14:52 im from New Zealand. We're often forgotten about, so its nice to find some history. do yo know the name of the airfield, a nearby town. i'd like to learn more about our pilots there too
@@mdww2battlegrounds my friend you are more than welcome tbh I truly think your the best in your field and its shows with your content and professional attitude and sharp editing skills m8 I will share share share and also join patron your cause is truly worth it
15:00 the NZ button probably came from the uniform of NZ POW aircrew, of who many served in the RAF. If there is no other RAF items dumped there then you might be able to find out if any RAF raids hit that airfield and if any NZ crew were shot down there - it may be their's.
@@mdww2battlegrounds I bet next is to get lucky with a gun next :) but love your videos I had family members back then fighting on all sides Russian, German, and American.
Really awesome Luftwaffe finds Chris indeed, cant wait for more videos when you post the new vid I just more and more like the felling of satisfsction haha
What you found here on 9:48 on the right side is actually a nob to finetune the frequency of the radio called „FuG16zy“ The nop and the panel itself came along with a big variety of different shapes and was used in all kind of German aircrafts sonot necessarily a Bf-109. this particular panel-shap does not fit to the one of the Bf-109 (unless you found further evidence of course) :) Greetings
Mooie vondst. Sometimes i really use the Liftwaffe sauces i have because it is the only one i have. And my Dutch grandpa took a knive from Hydrierwerke Pölitz, next to Stettin and sometimes i use that one. I just grab a knive in the drawer....He was there during the Arbeidseinsatz. Regards from 🇳🇱
The white piece that had 15 6 44 on it could potentially be a date for June 15, 1944?. Maybe it was a tag for a part on an aircraft that was to indicate when it was last serviced?
It's really interesting and tragic at the same time. I would be interested in visiting Germany to do some metal detecting many strict rules in place that's for sure
Awesome, I enjoy these videos very much, they are very entertaining, and I love how long they are and how in depth they are, haha get it, in DEPTH. Have fun out there guys, I wish I could join you all or at least be in Germany to metal detect battlegrounds like you do!!
Cool that the plate was not broken up after about 80 years been buried in the ground! Interesting clip again! Btw... ever used a detector that's looking as a kind of groundradar? (sorry can't remember the right name for that equipment item! I know my brother had used one - but he isn't that active anymore.
Hey hallo! Dankjewel!
Have you ever found the Morphine (eppie style pens) that were used on the wounded that would get tossed aside after first use? Finding those could be hazardous to come in contact with. Be careful out there, gentlemen, just in case.
Now these are a really different set of artifact finds that we usually see from your group. I suspect you'll be back at this site in the future to cover the area and find additional artifacts from WW2. Thanks for the video Chris, and be safe and careful while hunting..
Interesting side note: the Carcano rifle clips you discovered are for the same rifle/caliber that was mail ordered and used to assassinate president Kennedy here in America.
Crazy how you’re walking where brave men died fighting for their lives at one point. Both sides fighting for their countries unsure what the near future will bring.
Don’t know if it’s valid or not but looked up the oberth last name online related to ww2 and said he helped develop v2 rockets for the Germans in ww2 being that’s at an air field I wonder if they were studying those there

Just awesome 👌 watching from New Zealand 🇳🇿 & was amazing to see you find New Zealand memorabilia from the Aerodrome ❤ Thank you
It was a big surprise to us too! Thanks for watching!
I'm sure there's stuff still buried all over Europe from WWII. Most will never be found. Very cool finds here.

Спасибо за труд.
11:50 Could that be Herman Oberth’s locker tag? He was a rocket engineer in Germany during WW2 and worked with Wernher Avon Braun.
I am related to Hermann Oberth and got to meet him in Chicago.
You almost broke the plate throwing it on top of those small rocks. I would've laugh for hours
Those filters are for a 9mm European pipe. As a pipe smoker, I use them alot. The rocks in them are charcoal

Outstanding video chris that was some great fines there so you finally got your full plate congratulations my friend cant wait for the next one 👍👍🙏🙏
Very nice finds!!!
Im a new zealander my grandfather fought in the pacific.
We have nothing to do with Australia 😆😆
You could make something really cool with the porcelain emblems and dates, maybe tile saw them and then seal them some how? Wall art?

Wow!!
OMG Love that plate. You want to sell it?
The Carcono was the same rifle Oswald used to kill Kennedy. The star of the video was the complete plate with the eagle. Love this channel.
Really happy with the complete plate indeed!

Absolutely carcano clip ad ammo!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
What do you do of all of your finds?
My thoughts exactly. With all of their finds, they could easily open up a museum.
Well, they show their shop banner in the video....
You should take all the porcelain pieces and glue them. Im sure they are complete, but the pieces are in a hole
Muy bueno
Gut Fund.... Haufen Material 👍
Wie immer coole Funde...ob kölnisch wasser bei frauen hilft weiß ich nicht...😁
11:13 This is a practice smoke grenade ÜbHgr 24

13:40 that looks like Karlštejn in czech republic
It's not hardworking it's fun
What is the location of this find? Curious because my name is Oberth. Trying to track down more info. Thanks
There is barried German war planes in seymour indiana at freeman filed and Tuskegee air man trained there as well
I got a question do you guys go metal detecting during winter?
Tourniquet is English word for the blood stop strap.
ooit bij son ( nabij best eindhoven gezocht... daar zijn veel zweefvliegtuigen geland en ligt nog vol met spul

17:24 "the housewife" would be "Die Hausfrau" but there is written "Der Hausfrau" which means "To the Housewife". German grammar...
Cool little detail you point out there! Nice to know hahaha
Unklar basically means unknown/not sure
Do you have to get landowners permission before you dig?
Super fanty
Do you guys sale any of these items?
The Germans did not have butter. These are lard containers. A Buttercup is a flower.

It’s kind of funny they had ceramic plates. Not very durable😅
At 12:19 you can see some kind of bowl at the left bottom of the screen. What is that?
