It is a reflection on the champion's gameplay: 1. She stalks 2. She lures, 3. She gets into the enemy player's brain by being evasive and attacking from the jungle and then 4. She reveals herself towards the end as a reflection of she suddenly appearing, burst damaging and burning everything.
Which makes her character well designed! Gameplay that fits her succubus lore is great!

I agree. I actually just told my friend how I also liked her representation in Pop Star. There was a scene there where she is a second voice to Akali, but the transitioning of the video is her normal and demon shade form like it was so good. And the demon shade form appears when there is only blacklight meaning it's dark like how her passive works. I love it. The MV production team is so good.
So, Evelynn is actually an amorphous demon who learned to fashion herself into "the most appealing form" to lure prey for her to torment. That's why she essentially stays in the shadows until she's ready to strike. You should read up on her if you like the aesthetic. She has always been my favorite. Chica is, like, 600 years old.

She started as a normal spirit, which is basically a non-sentient ball of magic that floats around and absorbs the stray magic it happens to touch. She only began hunting down humans when she accidentally came across a human that was being tortured and absorbed its life force, after which she became smart enough to realize that she could feed on the negative emotions and life force of other sentient beings.
She's intelligent now, and strong enough to change her form to lure in victims, but she still has the same instincts that she had as a low-level spirit. That's why she kills so easily. She has no attachment to humanity, whatsoever.
