So the thing is evelynn has a separate lore for the kda universe. In the kda universe she is a mysterious pop star who has a collection of really fast sport cars. She is said to have romantic relationships to male celebrities who shortly become missing after coming in contact with her. The demon luring thing is her canon lore. Like ingame...
To be fair, the demon thing also fits her K/DA lore.

Historically the mythos behind the Succubi revolves around the concept of a female demoness that lures her victims in with her feminine wiles to control them and eventually drain their soul/life force. Succubi tend to be incredibly beautiful and depending on the mythology can mask themselves to appear more beautiful depending on whom they are preying upon. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." as they say and whom ever beholds a Succubi will see their deepest lustful desires, the perfect mate. That's why this song is so fucking good, it captures the concept of what Evelynn is with every word of the song. Something I also adore are her fangs, it's a tiny detail that probably goes overlooked. Her design for K/DA ALL/OUT has a corset that reminds me of the Pentagram Corsets that I've seen a lot around, basically the straps are in the shape of a Pentagram. There's so many details about her that can be picked up upon, it's incredibly impressive the amount of detail they've put into her.

"Demoness" is also featured in numerous dictionaries, has been used countless times in media, books, and other places. You may have a problem with a "gender conforming" version of the word, but it seems the world has moved on. Is this an issue about pronouns of something? Personally I'm not interested if it is. If someone chooses to refer to a female demon as a demoness, why can't they? It serves as clarity when referencing the fact that demon clearly in-fact is feminine in nature. You can call Lilith "the demon Lilith" in conversation, however due to Lilith's gender mattering in the context of whom she is, one would probably say "Demoness" to clarify. Don't get me wrong, you'd have to be under a rock not to know who Lilith is, I'm just saying given the context of a conversation, one may prefer one version over the other. Also, I hate to break this to you, but it's chosen usually for flavor, "Demoness" simply sounds better to some when referring to a female Demon. Also, what constitutes "Demoness" not being a "word"? There are plenty of words today in the english dictionary that have been changed to suite some people's agendas, there are new words that previously didn't exist a couple decades ago, again, I hate to break this to you, but words have been added to humanity's lexicon since the dawn of man. Also, "man" is a gender neutral term, it can be used to refer to the male gender or people in general given a certain context, as I demonstrated.
The video concept really explained it very well. She can give you all the pleasure in life(money, cars, mansion, expensive furniture). despite all that, you have to deal with her dark side too(darkness, emptiness, snakes)
Technically speaking, Evelynn isn’t a succubus. Canonically, she is the demon of lust who gets off on the feeling of pain. She was born from pain, suffering, and despair, and doesn’t like when she can’t feel those emotions, so she just made them for herself. The “no feeling” refers to this, because she can’t feel anything when she’s not causing pain and suffering, and dislikes not being able to feel.

So I have been an Evelynn main since 2012 when she originally released. I loved the fact that originally, next to nothing was really known about her except she was an assassin. no age, no birthplace, nothing. over a LONG time, we learned alot about her, and with her re-release, learned how she came to be the assassin she is. There used to be a newspaper type thing in League of Legends, and it told a story of how everyone Evelynn had ever dated was later found dead- except one, Twisted Fate. Evelynn couldn't bring herself to kill him because she had actually fallen in love with the man with Lady Luck on his side (hense Tango Evelynn and Tango Twisted Fate.) Originally it was assumed she was from the Shadow Isles as she shared traits with the entities from that realm, but it was never confirmed, and later debunked as it turned out she was a demon who lived off the feelings in the world, and when those feelings stopped happening she had to create them herself and failed many times before becoming the "Evelynn" that she is now. I currently have probably around 30,000 games with Evelynn alone between her 4 phases of her life (Release, "death nerf", rework, full re-release)

Evelynn's lore, ingame, she is a demon but in KDA skin lore/universe, she's not. She's a mysterious, diva kinda of artist, loves fast and expensive cars, and she was link to the male celebrities who just mysteriously gone. Keep it mind that mostly the in-game lore( which is the canon) and Skin Lore( like KDA skin) are both take place in a different universe or world.

The claws Evelynn wears are usually called armour rings, but they usually only cover a couple of knuckles and still leave the underside and tip of the finger exposed. Evelynn's are p unique bc they're so long and completely cover the finger for that spooky long and sharp claw illusion. It's probably my favourite part of her design lmao
Upon a quick google some specific types that are common in goth jewellery are nicknamed nail guards or stiletto nails. Most of the time they're attached to an armour ring but there are some kinds that are just attached to the end of the finger instead.

The first part represents Cleopatra who aims for the throne and using her beauty to charm others. I think the snake part represents Medusa who was raped by Either Zeus or Poseidon and later got cursed by Athena, and the last part where Evelyn hides in a white cloth represents Lilith, Adam's first wife.
I read this somewhere but I think these representations fit the visual.

Oh rei, since you mentioned you might give Eve a try in game i can give you tips I picked up on
Despite popular belief with her ganking she can go and get pressure off her laners before six (before she can go invisible) but it's harder and it exposes where you've been in the jungle
you always start up her w (the charm which is referenced by the lyric: hear my voice up in your head) and wait for the heart to fill up before using the first q on the target if it's a champ or use her empowered e on a camp
She LOVES to pick off the smaller high priority targets as an assassin. So other assassins, the enemy bot laner (sometimes support if they go squishy) and their mage.
That's a few things I can say that might help you when you go to play her for the first time in her main area the Jungle best of luck in seducing her next victim

If you need tips on the best rotation for her abilities it's typically W to charge up, E if empowered, if E is not empowered it's Q to draw them in, Q Q Q, E, auto if need to and typically they're low enough to execute if you haven't been bursted down. with the marker that comes over their bodies that's when eve does increased damage to her target
