    The home training cycle is ending, there is just one more week left to go! Then, I will deload and do some PR testing. In this video we will be looking at a Pull Workout, starting with some Muscle Ups followed by some heavy Pull Ups.
    The +100Kg pull up will be done in order to feel the following sets "less heavy" but also to adapt myself to higher weights.
    I'm extremely happy about the results I'm obtaining, specially on those two exercises (Pull Ups and Muscle Ups). Excited to see how far can I push in the PR's week!
    My Rep Max Calculator Tool: rmcalculator.com/
    Hope you liked the video and as always, see you in the next one!

    I have been using your app for like 1.5 months now, and I gone from 20kg pull up with 3 set of 6 reps to 30 kg pull ups with 3 set of 6 reps.
    In Dips I gone from 20 kg 3 set of 10 reps to 30 kg 3 set of 8.
    I only increased 1 rep each session compare to previous session.

    Your strength is amazing! I dream to have the same level but I am conscious that at my age it is not realistic at all and I will never be able to get it before my tendons and muscles tear, specially now after the lockdown.
    But your warm up is what surprises me more. What is your warm up protocol in strength training ? Usually, and it gave me great results in exercises like squats, bench press and dips, I use a descending number of reps as I increase progressively my %1RM set. I start with 8 - 10 reps with not additional weight at all (in bench press and squats it is just the 20kg bar) and I finish with one rep at 75 or 80%1RM, until trying my work sets (usually 3 or 4 reps at 85 or 90%RM depending on the period of my training). I was surprised your last warm up sets were heavier than your work sets, although I understand your intention of trying 100kg.

    Very good video👍🏼. Maybe you need a stronger belt from rogue or a chain for your belt.
    What do you think about the "rest pause" trainingsystem? For example: pull ups with 50 kg additional weight for about 8 reps, than take a short break for about 20 seconds, then go for another 4 reps, then 20 seconds break and then 2 reps after that 3-4 minutes break and repeat this set. What do you think about this trainingmethod? Is this a good way to encrease strength and endurance? Keep making this kind of videos they are awesome👍🏼. Your channel is my favorite calisthenics/streetlifting channel on youtube and thanks for the calculator. Greetings from germany✌🏼

    • @perecollfdz
      @perecollfdz  4 роки тому

      Hey pade! Thank your very much for your support. Actually I have never tried this method (which is similar to the Cluster method) but i think that could be fine for working more like weighted endurance. This would also be very similar to an AMRAP where you have short periods of rest time (but same reps, not decreasing). So i cannot give you a clear answer as I have not tried, but you could try and see what works best for you!

    How do you structure your deload weeks? I’m a little new to programming, so my plan for deloads is to keep the same frequency (3 days per week full body for me), train at the same intensity at a lower volume for the first two days (so, for example, 2 sets of 4 for a given exercise at the last weight I was training with, instead of 3 sets of 8), and then strength testing on the 3rd day. Does that work for a deload?

    • @perecollfdz
      @perecollfdz  4 роки тому +3

      I would recommend to also lower the intenisty along with the volume :)

    Pere que ejercicios recomiendas para aumentar reps en front level pull ups? He estado haciendo grease the groove y he visto resultados en técnica muy sólidos, pero no tanto en número de reps, me siento levemente estancado en 4

    • @шашалакоәмпанадахихихи
      @шашалакоәмпанадахихихи 3 роки тому

      Podrías hacer half reps y cada vez añadir más rango de movimiento hasta que tengas muchas repes con rango completo, probablemente despues de un tiempo se te va a hacer dificil la tecnica, en caso de que eso pase podrías hacer greasing the groove para recuperar la tecnica, ese era mi plan antes de lesionarme xd
