The home training cycle is ending, there is just one more week left to go! Then, I will deload and do some PR testing. In this video we will be looking at a Pull Workout, starting with some Muscle Ups followed by some heavy Pull Ups.
The +100Kg pull up will be done in order to feel the following sets "less heavy" but also to adapt myself to higher weights.
I'm extremely happy about the results I'm obtaining, specially on those two exercises (Pull Ups and Muscle Ups). Excited to see how far can I push in the PR's week!

Hope you liked the video and as always, see you in the next one!
When you're too strong for your training gear, real life baki moment...
Really like these type of commentary videos where you dig in to programming and technique! Keep up the good work 👊
You are by far one of the most powerful athletes I've seen, awesome content too!
I have been using your app for like 1.5 months now, and I gone from 20kg pull up with 3 set of 6 reps to 30 kg pull ups with 3 set of 6 reps.
In Dips I gone from 20 kg 3 set of 10 reps to 30 kg 3 set of 8.
I only increased 1 rep each session compare to previous session.
Glad the app is working for you!
@@perecollfdz The best app out there for sure 😁
Anyway, could you make a post on your website about improving weighted dip technique?
The post about weighted pull up helped me a lot in my technique 😁
I cannot access any proper dip station now... So ... No post for now, in the future for sure
@@perecollfdz Okey, gracias amigo 😁✌️
What is app name?
Congrats man, You are a beast
That was awesome, serious stuff man
Impressive 100kg in pull up pere💪 those videos are very helpful and I enjoy it,keep going 🙏
Brutal pere tiu!! 💪🏼🔥
Max respect 💪💪💪
Pure motivation!
You should take it easier broo!! The rope cannot keep up with your trainings 😂!! RIP rope😜💪
🤭😏😏😏
this is rly nice strenght level :) coming from somebody who train pullup dominatly for 3y now :)
Very beautiful, more brilliance and success for your channel
Do a day of diet
Pere you should buy or DIY a loading pin for your plates. Personally its the best way to load weight on pull ups & dips
If I have to stay longer at home I surely will!
Eres una bestia tio,enhorabuena!
Your strength is amazing! I dream to have the same level but I am conscious that at my age it is not realistic at all and I will never be able to get it before my tendons and muscles tear, specially now after the lockdown.
But your warm up is what surprises me more. What is your warm up protocol in strength training ? Usually, and it gave me great results in exercises like squats, bench press and dips, I use a descending number of reps as I increase progressively my %1RM set. I start with 8 - 10 reps with not additional weight at all (in bench press and squats it is just the 20kg bar) and I finish with one rep at 75 or 80%1RM, until trying my work sets (usually 3 or 4 reps at 85 or 90%RM depending on the period of my training). I was surprised your last warm up sets were heavier than your work sets, although I understand your intention of trying 100kg.
My protocol its very similar to yours!! You have videos of me doing the full warm up on my channel!!
Hey Pere, how many warm up sets u do for dips and pull ups?I really hope one day i will be able to pull 100 Kg as clean as you do
Depends on the weight you need to scale to. But for 100Kg pull ups its 20,40,60,80,90.
@@perecollfdz Ty Pere,i will use this exemple of 100 Kg for my training
How many days you train on the week
Very good video👍🏼. Maybe you need a stronger belt from rogue or a chain for your belt.
What do you think about the "rest pause" trainingsystem? For example: pull ups with 50 kg additional weight for about 8 reps, than take a short break for about 20 seconds, then go for another 4 reps, then 20 seconds break and then 2 reps after that 3-4 minutes break and repeat this set. What do you think about this trainingmethod? Is this a good way to encrease strength and endurance? Keep making this kind of videos they are awesome👍🏼. Your channel is my favorite calisthenics/streetlifting channel on youtube and thanks for the calculator. Greetings from germany✌🏼
Hey pade! Thank your very much for your support. Actually I have never tried this method (which is similar to the Cluster method) but i think that could be fine for working more like weighted endurance. This would also be very similar to an AMRAP where you have short periods of rest time (but same reps, not decreasing). So i cannot give you a clear answer as I have not tried, but you could try and see what works best for you!
Awesome work man,can you make a full day of eating video as well?
In the future 4 sure!
Entreno 2 veces dominadas y 1 fondos. Suerte con aeroespaciales💪🏼
@@perecollfdz gracias, por contestar 💪
💪💪💪
Man, you were lucky. The weights could have fallen right at your foot. be careful!
How do you structure your deload weeks? I’m a little new to programming, so my plan for deloads is to keep the same frequency (3 days per week full body for me), train at the same intensity at a lower volume for the first two days (so, for example, 2 sets of 4 for a given exercise at the last weight I was training with, instead of 3 sets of 8), and then strength testing on the 3rd day. Does that work for a deload?
I would recommend to also lower the intenisty along with the volume :)
Pere sigues manteniendo front lever pull ups?
Hey man, i have a question : i can't increase my max in weighted pull ups (which is actually 3 sets of 6 reps with 14kg) but when i increase the weight i can only do like 2 pull ups with 20kg. And i don't know how to do to improve my workout. Can you help me ?
In my website (linked on description) you can find posts, exercises and workout plans (paid) that will help you :)
Hey man! I have a question. If I understood correctly, your only adding the front lever work as accesory exercise hence just 2 sets. Did i get that right? Do you also do this to your other sessions like the HSPU on your didp sessions?
So good,you are in super form,wanna 115?
Not sure if I will go for AMRAP or RM, I have to think about it
Hope,you can,go, go Pere
Wow you could get heavily injured if those weights landed on your bare feet. Take care and it would also be better to have a chain instead.
Keep working hard!
yeah i know. I have a chain but it just cannot fit those plates :(
Sigue asi 💪🏼
180cm
Hello Pere !
Me gustaría saber cuantas calorías comes al día ?
Gracias 🙏
Pere Coll gracias 😊
Where did you go lol
Awesome strength that you achieved with home workouts and great app. Out of curiosity (since i´ve been following you for some years now), do you think you lost your iron cross or one arm front lever since you dont train static skills like before?
About the one arm front lever... I amable to hold it for 3 seconds now. I havent tried the iron cross for a long tine but im super sure that i can hold it for 10 seconds or more. Legs are heavy now :(
@@perecollfdz I guessed it got harder because of the leg muscle! You developed a ton of leg strength and I'm happy for how complete you became in calisthenics (weighted) and compound moves. Awesome to know the skills are still there nonetheless, it's even more impressive to have them with legs like that. Keep up the good work, cheers from Portugal (almost neighbours hahaha) :D
Hahahha thanks mate!!!
which set x rep range do you think is best for progress? or do you like the most? 3x6, 3x5 or 5x5?
That question has no sense
Pere Coll well i know we should periodize and change rep ranges but certainly there are some that one stays most of the time in and have more progress in but ok
Depends in so many factors. There is no magic set in my opinion 🤷
Pere Coll sure there isnt but let’s say how do you usually do sets of 20 on weighted pull ups? im pretty sure no what about 10 sets? i would say no too just trying to narrow the rep window a bit but thanks for answering
@@tstreino i never do sets of more than 8 in pull ups for example. And 12 for SQ and dips. ;)
Muy poderoso pere..que edad tienes bro?
21
