My doubts are concerning the financial proof that I have to show it at immigration in Phillipines for visa on arrival approval. Do I need to carry American dollars of some amount or filipino pesos? Or can I show debit card/ bank statement? I am planning to stay there for 12 days. I am a solo traveller.

Just try cubao Quezon city there are plenty hotels and it's near to Makati and manila aswell
Makati is good but too much traffic there. As well any 3 star hotel have good security

That's because mostly guys coming to Philippines to meet their GFs. Per person estimate 60-80K for 7-10 days for just only one Island like in Manila or Cebu or Davao. As per our subscriber just flew from Kolkata
