Oh trust me they love to cut up the good ones. It’s less body work. They would run steel wool over the edges and let it rust up a bit then clear coat them to preserve the rest.
Love the old trucks. I wouldn't change anything, just routine maintenance and clean up. There's probably not another original Chevy in that good of condition anywhere. The Ford is great too but needs some sort of bed that will blend with the time period and be functional. Keepers for sure ! You mentioned renting one of them out for camping, I'd discourage that because nobody takes care of something rented. Much appreciate the old start/cold start. Would like to see them when they're clean and sitting outside in the sun light. 💓💓 Thanks Wes and William. Very nice video. Hope the coming New Year is the best ever for Pandy Farm. 👍👍😊
Thanks for sharing your old trucks thats cool. If you pick up working on the 4430 hope yo can video it. Thanks again for sharing your adventures in your farming
I had a 1952 chev pick up with a inline 6 cylinder that was a great truck. Sold it to a father and son team that were going to use it as a delivery truck for there hardware store in sellerburg Indiana. They had plans on cool paint job. Used the money to buy a 4020 that I still have today and use in my hay business. Got a really sweet 1977 ford straight truck that I haul grain in for my grandson. It’s got a 360 V8 and the bed holds 425 bushels of corn and when you got it loaded that heavy you know it. However it still pulls it good split a axle rear end and 4 speed transmission. It’s a slick truck and I’m the second owner. It’s low mileage less than 40,000 miles. These older trucks need to be kept they are historically vehicles. Old tractors and trucks are a thing. And just glad there are some us around that appreciate them.
Back in the 30s and 40s cars and trucks top speed was about 50mph. The roads back then were rough mostly dirt, cobblestone in the cities. Those old trucks are history Wes.
When I was a kid, dad had a ‘38 Chevy 2 ton truck with a grain box and a one-way hydraulic hoist for the grain box. The gas tank was under the passenger seat, like Wes’ ‘41
I think the fruit and vegetable idea is awesome. Could have one setup for fruit and one setup for vegetables. I don't know if you would ever make any large amount of money but it would sure be neat. How about a video of you and Tim starting up some more of the older stuff you have?
I DID enjoy you starting them,Wes,thank you. I saw them in the background of the 7810 work and wondered how long it had been since running them. I like the Ford better , I'm a Ford guy, but the Chebby is nice too with the lettering.
Look up Vice Grip Garage's "shine juice" that is 1/3 linseed oil 2/3 mineral spirits and just wipe on and it gives new life to old original finishes. It's fast, inexpensive, and lasts a year or two outside/longer when stored. Or you can do wax.
She doesn’t want to start,oh there she goes, oops there she went, happy new year to you Wes and family, hopefully 2025 is a better year for you. Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far it will pull you through it.
Almost always cheaper to fix and maintain old equipment vs buying new. My Dad maintained his dozers/scrapers and other equipment even though they ranged from 20 to 50 years old. The cat parts were expensive but cheaper than new equipment. He did the mechanic work.
on my grandfathers farm we would haul 14000 lbs on the 29 chevy farm truck. my first car was a 48 chevy 216. what the chevy would do was start in the cold minnesota winters better than any flat head.
Amazing how some people think, pretty much everyone of them with "suggestions" like that haven't the slightest clue of reality. Water pump and a couple seals are too expensive, sure go spend $100,000+ on a replacement with an unknown history. I think the 10 series are some of if not the Deere has ever built, I wouldn't ever let go of it.
Hey Wes you stated earlier that if we had an older diesel tractor to add a quart of oil to the diesel fuel to aid the older muscle I have a older model 4610 ford tractor. It holds 16 gal of diesel fuel. How much oil should I mix in a tank? This new diesel fuel is crap!
If its question time, would love to see that yellow international doing something or better yet a new running tractor tour, our atleast an antique tractor tour
Take a look at vice, grip, garage and rust worthy restorations He does all kinds of old projects like your Ford and Chevy and has a full line of products he uses and recommends He just did in 1940s international truck with clearcoat that he sells in his store I believe it’s 1776 brand. Those old trucks would look amazing in original condition with a wet clearcoat finish.
Thanks for this video. Assume you use non-ethanol gas in those old trucks. What aditive do you use in the gas? Gas looked a little bit blue when you were pouring gas into the red truck.
The best V8 for low end power was the RB Chrysler aka the 440. Love those old trucks Wes. 534 Ford was another one. They were purpose built truck engine.
@@onelonleyfarmer I am pretty sure if you have a bill of sale from the person you bought it from, you can simply go to the BMV and apply for a lost title.
It’s amazing to see such well-preserved vintage trucks! Your dedication to keeping them original is truly commendable.
Glad to see someone actually trying to keep old vehicles in Original Condition not Chopping them Up
It would be tough to find somebody that wouldn't cut them up. It's real good that they are so original. They should stay that way. Good video.
Oh trust me they love to cut up the good ones. It’s less body work. They would run steel wool over the edges and let it rust up a bit then clear coat them to preserve the rest.
I love the trucks. Great idea on the corn stand
That flathead Ford sounds SO sweet!!...love to see you do something with that truck!!👍😁👍
I would like to see the 4430 finished when you get to it. What's the stories on the JDs beside the trucks??
We wanna see the 4010, 4320 and I6 and all the two cylinders again! Been too long. Also, yes 4430 needs love soon! Lol

Beautiful trucks
Thanks for sharing Wes,
Keep them...! They’re in good hands now. Love my Old machines as well, 32 Ford BB stake bed and my 53 JD 40s....
Thanks for sharing your old trucks thats cool. If you pick up working on the 4430 hope yo can video it. Thanks again for sharing your adventures in your farming
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Great to see the old trucks running again. Wishing you and your family the best.
I'd love to see you get that 4010 finished I enjoyed the rebuild videos of it so far.
What about the 4010, 4320 and I6? They need to run too haha!
Just can’t beat old iron. Thanks for the saving them. Look forward to seeing them done.👍
Great trucks happy New Year 👍🏻🇺🇸
Good video.
Awesome trucks, thank you, I agree whole heartedly you'll do the right thing by those trucks. I enjoy watching your videos.
Every single video you post, it’s a vibe. Keep it up!

Thanks Wesley, I prefer older vehicles as well. So much easier to work on. I remember setting points using a match pack cover on my 62 ford falcon.
Nice trucks Wes be worth the money to have some canvas fitted tarps made. They look decent. Have a good day.
Love the trucks...
And you maintain your equipment 😊
We wanna see the 4010 and the 4320 again!

Wes, great job . Happy holiday to you and the family. May 2025 be good to you and the family.
Thank you sir I appreciate your advice trying to keep the old girl running and this new fuel is crap

Those trucks are pretty sweet. The 7810 is the top 5 John Deeres ever built. Dont get rid of it til it has at least 25,000 hours.
What about starting the 4320 and 4010?
It is always fun to watch your family🚜🚜🛻🛻
Nice trucks
I would just sell booth for someone to use . Wishing you a great NEW Year !!
Grew up in that area so crazy live in New Tripoli now

Wow, honestly this made my day. Thank you!
Make “ok so” great again!!!
Always thought the Chevy was a pretty sweet little unit.
2 “ok so,s”
6:55. Love it. 🎉
That would be cool to get the 27 running sir. Enjoy all ur videos sir
Wes, I have old projects that I need to finish also. It's ok, takes time and money.
She doesn’t want to start,oh there she goes, oops there she went, happy new year to you Wes and family, hopefully 2025 is a better year for you.
My dad had a 62 c10 with a 235 straight six and it was really reliable. It lasted for 30 years and didn’t even have to do a rebuild
I like the rule of thumb your not allowed to swap the motor out of something until the motor is blown. Two very strait trucks.
That old stovebolt six sounds exactly the same as the 1978 250 six in my K2.
Very good Video 👍 👍
I want to see you get that chevy cleaned up and taken to the field. Then fill it with shelled corn from the big combine.
Love them old trucks
Thank god you saved them.

Horse power is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far it will pull you through it.
We need an equipment tour.
A little bit of repair is cheaper than payments and depreciation of new equipment.
Almost always cheaper to fix and maintain old equipment vs buying new. My Dad maintained his dozers/scrapers and other equipment even though they ranged from 20 to 50 years old. The cat parts were expensive but cheaper than new equipment. He did the mechanic work.
Horsepower is how hard you hit the fence. Torque is how far you drag the fence 😉
I like the steel grill guard seen at 23:00 in this video. I don’t recall any story about that. 🤔
He found a KB International truck in the woods and salvaged the grille guard off of it.
on my grandfathers farm we would haul 14000 lbs on the 29 chevy farm truck. my first car was a 48 chevy 216. what the chevy would do was start in the cold minnesota winters better than any flat head.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Wes and family.
do ceramic coating on the paint
I bet the house that 7810 is easier on the pocket to maintain than anything with 20,30 or r wrote on bonnet 😂

Might fix up the JD 4430. May be start up the combine harvester once a month.

@@terryaldridge5311 2 stroke oil is what you will use. Cup or so is all
Good deal.
Might be interesting to do a collab with Vice Grip Garage for a few videos sprucing these trucks up.
If its question time, would love to see that yellow international doing something or better yet a new running tractor tour, our atleast an antique tractor tour
Go for it that will be a way for you to relax.
Torque is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you drag the wall
I like how the phone # on the door of the Chevy has only 5 digits.
I am pretty sure if you have bill of sale, you can simply go to the BMV and apply for a lost title.
👍🏻🍻

Guessing it was gasoline mixed with 2-stroke oil originally meant for the chainsaw.
👍👍
Strange, when you flip the camera, the image interverts
horse power is how fast you go around the track torque is how far you take the wall with you
D o n t s e l l t h e t r u c k s!!!
U should get the 4010 back up and running
Vice grips shine juice...
Is that the 4010? Setting next to the Chevy
Did you ever get it running?
The best V8 for low end power was the RB Chrysler aka the 440. Love those old trucks Wes. 534 Ford was another one. They were purpose built truck engine.
Who's going to operate the vegetable stand when you get the veggie hauler done?
That flipping Camera hurts My brain......
Thanks Wes....
Getting good points now is a problem
eBay. That’s where we get them for my buddy’s dads tractors
Coolest non farming video ever
Do the tractor first..
Really like those old trucks!
Should get that 4320 running again
4 stroke 6 cylinder. Naturally balanced. BMW 6 cylinders are the best, diesel or petrol.
On-Farm Service truck/flatbed
that ford would be cool to have a flatbed on and then fix up the old 2n get a plow and haul it to plow days
Don’t clear coat.if you do it wrong that paint could alligarer
No planned obsolescence then
A person still could get a straight 6 in a ford into the 90s I think .
I have a GMC Envoy with a 4.2 Straight Six great engine but they like gas
I prefer ford
Don’t sell that 7800 tractor! At least you can work on it and is still cheaper than the garage they build today!
Wess register the Chevy in VT and ask for a new title then you we be all set
so how do I do that as a New Jersey resident?
They should let you apply for a new title for something that old!
