- In her upcoming book, “No Going Back,” South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem describes her dog as "untrainable." Tyler Smith, who cares for three wire-haired pointers, is not buying that. He says it just takes patience and time. Meanwhile, Noem has another disturbing story in her book. The same day she shot her dog, Noem also shot her family's pet goat. The late-night comics are finding humor in the jaw-dropping story.

She was just on a serial killing spree - anything in her way. Hated the dog, the goat smelled and all 3 of the horses just happened to be old and sick together.

Probably not because of some particular laws where she lives, where it is valid to put down "dangerous" animals or pets. But I feel this outcome is just as punishing for her. She probably does not care because she is crazy, but it is good not to have her in any office or position of authority. It makes you wonder how she treats her family.

That's ridiculous! Sometimes you get a damaged dog. I had a white german shepherd who could not be trained. She was also vicious if she didn't know you and would bite. She had no control when she came near a cat and would attack no matter what. As she got older she even bit me when I turned to walk away from her. I had to have the animal control put her down.

Just because she said the animal was untrainable doesn't mean she was. The old goat slaughtered her dog and her goat. It must have been scarier for the goat than for the doggy.
