I've decided to watch Legacies now. After watching this hilarious and amazing interview. I wanna see these actors play these characters that have descended from TVD and TO, AND the new ones too. Woop woop. It's official I'm finally watching Legacies.

You can tell by how the cast feels by what they do with their legs Kaylee, Jenny, Danielle : Crossed means uncomfortable Aria,Bret: Half crossed means kind of awkward but fine Quincy, Chris, Peyton, Julie,: Open, very comfortable This is my opinion. They do change so, they may get more or less comfortable

And when look you are dealing with Josie and Lizzie.. And when you go with Hope for some short time... And so on... When writers forgot about other characters like Rafael, MG and so on... When they bring such an interesting character (at least for me) Sebastian and when writers forgot about his story line. And just removes him.. And just once again tries to get fans on someone else storyline... It just could be one season two storylines and so on. Because we already know what Julie can do.. She really can manage lots of characters and their own storylines. So I still have hope for Legacies.

I love all of the actors and their characters. I love the Idea of legacies, but compared to the Vampire Diaries and The Originals the Legacies is lacking in writing! The acting is there for sure! Given what they got, they all have nailed their characters to a T. I just...Julie Plec man, you have that much experience and yet somehow S1 and so far S2 have been mostly lack luster. I watch it and I love it, not because it’s the best, but because I love Vamp Diaries and The Originals. I love those shows so I feel like I owe them to watch the Legacies, but honestly Legacies is missing a lot of emotional, logical, and important moments. The plot is lacking and I think literally writing an episode in a week in a series is not a good plan. Nor is the actors learning their script right before they have to record it is it responsible either? Then again, I have my major in English, so I don’t really understand show production, but I think being so irresponsible with the show writing is a major fault on the writers and producers. Nothing at all against the actors! I love them to death! But I just think not knowing where the story is going months in advance (in detail) is part of the reason the show is sooo lack luster...
Same. I like the show, but it's nothing compared to tvd or the oringinals. But most of all I'm really disappointed about Hope and Alaric, like they have fought against some things that all the others characters cannot imagine, but in the show it seems like Hope and Ric can't kill a little monster. Olivia Rose I get what you mean but I think they’re trying to do that. The originals was based on family, tvd was based on romance, and legacies is based on friendship. But that doesn’t excuse the fact that there is plenty of space for romance, family, and sentimental moments but there doesn’t seem to be enough. Like Alaric and his daughters for example I feel like they haven’t had that many sweet father-daughter scenes. The scenes are more about defeating monsters and everything is kinda of jammed into whatever space is left.
This is absolutely how I feel too. Especially in season 2, I feel like they've been sacrificing story for spectacle and ultimately failing at both. I'm here for the characters and I got invested in them during the small moments;their interactions, actually seeing them go through their emotional journeys throughout the season, deteriorating or growing, them actually having a collective aim to work towards(the villains this season have been pretty forgettable). Legacies has so much potential with the way they've set up their characters, they're just doing a lackluster job of exploring them and letting the actors shine like they can. I really really want them to do well

I watched season 1 and what is filmed of season 2 and then realized it was a spin off and I understood everything because they basically explain everything and I enjoyed it. I LOVE THIS SHOW
I agree that we don't need Bonnie or Damon and Elena (if their kids wouldn't go to the school) but I'm really dissapointed Caroline didn't have any appearance on the show. She is mentioned like every episode and never even for a second on screen. And also not seeing any member of Hope's family. I am a huge fan of TVD & TO. I remember seeing posters in my mall of promotion for TVD and I remember being so excited because I was a Twilight fan so my interest was peaked (glad the shows were nothing like that though haha) I remember watching on Thursday night the premiere of TVD back in '09 and I got my mom to watch with me. We were hooked and that was "our thing" each week to hang out together was to watch TVD & rant about what we thought after. Lol. The actors on those shows were incredible and the storylines were amazing even when they weren't the best, they were still great. I grew up on those shows. Although, I love the cast on this and I want to be loyal to this world they created...I feel like the show tries too hard to fit in with this day and age. I understand the targeted audience is for the younger generation & made it appealing to ppl who may have never seen the other shows...I get it but I still feel like it neglects long time fans that have been watching since the start of these shows (not fans that found the show from Netflix in recent years lol which is great but I know a lot of ppl who have been watching since day 1, like myself...basically a decade later and a decade older..and i just feel like there should be a bit more elements that adhere to their loyal long time fan base) I just find it weird to have all these monsters in each episode when none of these things were ever in the other shows so it just feels a bit generic. I do find it interesting but just not authentic to the world they created. I still love the shows and will be so sad when its all over so I will continue to watch. Im thankful for all who has worked on these shows and giving us an escape from reality! But these were just some things I wondered if any one else feels..?

I am a huge fan of TVD & TO. I remember seeing posters in my mall of promotion for TVD and I remember being so excited because I was a Twilight fan so my interest was peaked (glad the shows were nothing like that though haha) I remember watching on Thursday night the premiere of TVD back in '09 and I got my mom to watch with me. We were hooked and that was "our thing" each week to hang out together was to watch TVD & rant about what we thought after. Lol. The actors on those shows were incredible and the storylines were amazing even when they weren't the best, they were still great. I grew up on those shows. Although, I love the cast on this and I want to be loyal to this world they created...I feel like the show tries too hard to fit in with this day and age. I understand the targeted audience is for the younger generation & made it appealing to ppl who may have never seen the other shows...I get it but I still feel like it neglects long time fans that have been watching since the start of these shows (not fans that found the show from Netflix in recent years lol which is great but I know a lot of ppl who have been watching since day 1, like myself...basically a decade later and a decade older..and i just feel like there should be a bit more elements that adhere to their loyal long time fan base) I just find it weird to have all these monsters in each episode when none of these things were ever in the other shows so it just feels a bit generic. I do find it interesting but just not authentic to the world they created. I still love the shows and will be so sad when its all over so I will continue to watch. Im thankful for all who has worked on these shows and giving us an escape from reality! But these were just some things I wondered if any one else feels..?
